Which 2015 MDX?
So I am looking to upgrade from my 2011 MDX tech + ent to an Elite model
I was looking specifically for Blue ones as I want the light grey interior (same combo as my current one)
Luckily I see 2 listings, trying to decide which one should I go for, both are top end Elite Models.
Option 1 (Preffered)
2015 - 120k Kms/ 75k miles - 23k CAD - Sold in December 2014
Comes with extra set of wheels for winter tires
Option 2
2015 - 108k Kms/ 67k miles - 26k CAD - Sold in July 2015
No winter tire set
With less than 10k miles and 3k CAD difference , option 1 is what I am leaning towards. Only question I had was if there would be any production quality differences between a late 2014 built car vs mid 2015 and if that's worth extra money?
I am aware both are out of warranty and CPO warranty(Both are not from Acura dealership
I am guessing they don't do any changes for a given model year so the quality should be same for all 2015 models?

I would also take a close look at the paint on the front end and wear/tear on the seats (mainly the driver's seat). The fathom blue pearl paint on my 19 MDX is very thin and rock strikes go straight down to the gray primer on the front leading edge. I ended up getting 3 hwy rock strikes down to the primer waiting for my PPF appt. about a week after purchase. Things like blue jeans or suntan/body lotions can stain the seats if don't do regular care.
Absolutely a beautiful color combo; but, right next to the color black for keeping the good looks (did color correction and ceramic coating along with PPF).

Hmm this doesn't give much confidence, will check out the cars anyhow to see their actual condition.

Yes, that grey interior is prone to some color change as I have seen in my current one as well, even after regular cleaning I still have some faint blue streaks on the side of seats(Mine is Taupe Interior with Bali Blue Pearl Exterior).
I also realized that while I will get lot of safety features in the 2015, I will get a car which is practically same mileagewise as my current car and with more things that can go wrong and cost more (had to replace back up camera and driver side puddle light within 6 months of owning my 2015 TLX, luckily both were covered in remaining factory warranty, those are not covered in CPO in Canada.)
Thanks for your feedback.

Would you have the opportunity to take the vehicles to an Acura or Honda dealership for a quick inspection? You could even see if they would run the VIN numbers for you. I've had some success with that in the past. All they are doing is checking the VIN for the maintenance history. Keep in mind that only services done by Acura/Honda will appear in this report. Both options may cost you something. But worth it to keep from paying for junk.
