I agree. However the sport are useful too, it makes getting in and out of the third row much easier.

 

Does anyone know where I might find the fog lights on the MDX prototype? These are so cool!

Even if exist, those prototype fog lights won't be able to fit the production model MDX bumper, without some custom works by the body shop.

 

In that last photo, do I see SILVER corssbars? I thought they only come in black.

 

After closer inspection, yours are black. I bet silver will be available with refresh.

 

Were you able to do the install ? I am planning to DIY Sports Rear Footboard,Roof Rails and Splash Guard.

I'm ok with cargo cover install but when there's a chance that the part may go flying off, I'll gladly pay the dealer for piece of mind. Youtube could be of help.

 

I have the '15 Advanced with front trim and integrated fog lights. I was pretty impressed after seeing the before and after look with trim and fogs on. Front looks clean but aggressive and I personally don't think it looks too busy. Guys at dealers seemed to like it too

 

Does the '15 Advanced package for MDX really come standard with roof rails? I could've sworn the dealer added them after the sale.

 

they definitely came on the '14 Advance and I don't think they changed anything for 2015

 

We did roof rails, adv running boards and a cargo mat. Probably put on some fog lights before winter.

Damn, I am too late , just bought running boards from elsewhere.

 

How much did you get them for? I asked him how so cheap and he said he buys them in bulk of 50+ sets at a time. Still seems really cheap but tons of feedback for these so seems legit.

Just got the advance running boards in. Definitely legit. Shipped from Acura parts department in Acura packaging. $400 delivered. Impressive!

 

I agree too and want to add my experience. My 09 had advance running boards and they were usually in the way when getting in and out, specially in the front (I got used to dirty pants in the winter). I was hesitant to get Sport since in pictures the Advance look very nice but the Sport are barely noticeable. I saw Advance in person and wasn't sold, so went with Sport, and I am very glad I did. They look fantastic, in my opinion, really integrated with the car, as has been said here, and the metal part adds a nice touch to the looks of the car. Love them. Also, they are very functional to access either the third row or anything you put in the roof rack.

 

He re-listed and I just bought mine! I think there's one more set left.

Everything looked completely genuine Acura/Honda however when I installed the passenger side one mounting hole was slightly off which I found weird. I needed to drill it out a little bit to get the bolt through.

I am looking at buying an MDX, but didn't know if there was a factory option for a square receiver-type hitch, or only the ball hitch. Anyone know of a receiver hitch option? Thanks!

 

please help. with step #17 how to get that side sill to the vehicle (14 clips).

Installed Class III Curt trailer hitch:





Bought it from E-Trailer for under $180. Hitch only. Wiring kit was another $40. I have had good luck in the past with Curt products. This was a 10 minute install with 2 people.

 

Boy is that hitch ever low!

I like how the factory accessory one is integrated.
