TOE question.....

ok guys, so I dropped the car with eibachs. I have been reading about the negative camber it does when you drop it an inch. I have also read that toe is what kills the tires and if you rotate the tires enough with the negative camber, it will be ok. My question is this; is my toe ok?

here are the readings as stated on the alignment report:

front left toe:
actual 0.01 before 0.28 specified range -0.08 0.08

front right toe:
actual 0.01 before -0.01 same specified range

front total toe:
actual 0.02 before 0.27 specified range -0.16 0.16

rear left toe:
actual 0.09 before 0.19 specified range 0.00 0.16

rear right toe:
actual 0.10 before 0.08 same specified range

rear total toe:
actual 0.19 before 0.27 specified range 0.00 0.31

it says something about "thrust angle" for the rear which the readings are as follows:

actual 0.00 before 0.06

any suspension gurus please chime in on my readings...Thank you!!!

Toe is good after the alignment. 0 degree thrust angle is perfect. The camber angles before and after would sure be interesting as would the SAI measurements if they are on your print-out.

Camber angles are as follows:

front left:
actual -0.4 before -0.1 specified range -0.6 0.5

front right:
actual -0.4 before -0.4 same specified range

Front cross camber:
actual 0.0 before 0.3 specified range -0.5 0.5

rear left:
actual -2.7 before -2.7 specified range -1.7 -0.7

rear right:
actual -2.6 before -2.6 same specified range

rear cross camber:
actual -0.1 before -0.1 specified range -0.5 0.5

the SAI was not shown or listed, well the fields are clear

The front looks fine, na action needed there. That rear camber may be a problem, even with the toe set correctly. Assuming you will be running low profile tires, that much negative camber will speed up the wear on the inside edge of the rear tires. Regular rotation will help and you may find the wear acceptable. Check out the application guide at spcalignment.com. This is Americam made stuff, high quality but breathtakingly expensive. They have illustrations and installation instructions. Read the text. I think you will also need the two control arms shown in light grey. The three arms per side, labor and alignment would easily cost $1,000. The alternative might be something like 12,000 miles or less out of an expensive set of tires.
