My new wheels

It has been almost 10 years since i have purchased aftermarket wheels and i was due. I wanted something simple and where i could use my existing tires and keep a stock look.
I will be using the stocks for winter tires as these all seasons suck in the snow big time.
So, i purchased these from fleabay and also got the tpms fromt here also. These are the ones you see for $600-700. I got the tpms for $85. I installed the sensors last night and assembled the center caps.

I went to wally world to have the tires installed. I continually go to the same one and they have treated me well. Yes, i know it's wally world but they can balance a tire better than most. The guy even parked my car in a spot where no one could park next to me.

The tpms worked instantly also w/o any programming.

I know these aren't 18's or 19's but i like the ride. The car is real dirty too. Every time i want to wash it, the forcast calls for rain.

Thanks all, i really like these compared to teh stock wheels.

Yeah, i forgot to mention they were a-specs. I'll get better pics than what i have when the car is clean.
I hate having to constantly switch tires for the winter and this was my best solution. Granted i could have gotten away with a lesser expensive wheel, but for not much more i have these.
I like the stock look for the most part.

The hyper silver looks better on the sedan than on the wagon

Looks good. I am going with the 19" RDX Sparkle Silver wheels on my TSX in the future. I like the look of A-Spec wheels and they are cheap if you know where to find them. So, its recommended to change the TPMS when you get new wheels? Or can I use my current ones that are on my stock 17s?

you can use the same TPMS on your stock wheels but if you have 2 sets of wheels ie winter and summer, it's better to get another set of TPMS so you don't end up swapping tires/tpms twice each year.

Thank you mrstak. I was getting conflicting answers from my dealer and what I read on the internet. I wont be changing back and forth on wheels as I live in Florida. Sounds good to me, saves me $80.

A set of new sensors on eBay costs <$100. The tires need to be (at least partially) un-mounted, re-mounted and re-balanced if you swap sensors - which will cost more than the $100.

If you are planning on selling your stock wheels/tires then it makes sense to leave the sensors in. The only time that it makes sense to re-use the sensors on a new wheel is if you need to remove the tires anyway - otherwise, the trouble and expense isn't worth it.

If you do r-use your existing sensors, then the tire place will need to replace the two "o" rings for a few dollars on each wheel. The "o" rings are a standard size and should be in stock at any tire dealer.

thanks all, i really love these wheels. For $800 with tpms, that is a bargain for a second set of wheels.
