Installed: Ultra Racing (UR) Chassis Kit, DIY and Test Drive Video
Hey Guys,
So i thought i would share this with you 9th gen TSX members since we have the Same EXACT Chassis kit..
So here is your review on the UR Chassis Kit. First have to give Mark @ throwdownPerformance thanks for giving my the push for this Chassis Kit.
Ok, So first and for most for my Camber guys here, This is a Must kit.. One thing that us (-) Camber guys know is that while driving either low or high speeds our rear ends feels really loose, feels like the rear end just wiggles when you switch lanes and hit the reflectors on the road.. I have felt this since i started with Camber, so has Carlos and Rene so i know they know what i am talking about.
If you can guys remember this thread Carlos thread on how to fix this issue, CLICK ME People kept saying that if he were to do the chassis kit it would Aggressively make it worse. Well i am here to tell you that your COMPLETELY wrong, after installing the Chassis kit, i no longer have this problem and the car is just so much more Stable, i feel like i have my Accord Handling back with HellaFlush Stance.
I have pushed and pushed my car to the point where i know that it just can't go anymore. The car is so much more stable, much more planted to the ground while turn, there is just so much less body roll.
I wish i could just install the last 3 arms just to have it all lol... I still have to test the Mid bar to see if i can run it..
From the videos you are going to say that the UR - 776 looks really low "TO LOW" well it's not.. It's from the camera view that it looks like that, i measured it i have 3 inchs of ground clearance which is way more thank enough... lol.. First if i were to drive over something that is 3 inchs tall i would destroy my Tranny,OIL, everything so i know that i don't have a problem with clearance there. lol. So i know that for the rest of you guys which are no-one as near as low as i am, you guys are Safe
So far my only complaint is that i didn't do this sooner.. So again thanks to ThrowdownPerformance, for pushing me to get this, Worth every Penny....

Thanks for posting! Also for all of you TSX guys who may not already know, the chassis between the 8th Gen Accord and the 2nd Gen TSX are exactly the same. So all of these braces will also work with your 2nd gen TSX!

Burning Brakes
I have had these on my car for over 19 months now. I did break the hell out of the very front low bar, had to buy another one.
It is way low, albeit I broke the bar on a change in the road where the city was going from concrete to asphalt, and the transition was rock, but it bent and cracked the cup horrible. (if you must know I was driving to one of our data centers for work, and the road just got replaced to allow for a new uvn rings to be installed by three new carriers).
So, yes they are worth it.

BPearl! Where's your own mod list thread that you said you thought about doing?! hahah
Great freaking DIY. This is what I wanted to see from whoever installed rear sway bars and shit. This is a DIY at its finest.
I watched the video yesterday but forgot now...what size is the RSB? 22mm? The Progress RSB is 22 and they have a 25 right? I'm wondering what's so different about the Progress one cuz supposedly you need to drill new holes for the Progress one to fit...but this UR one seems to be just "plug-n-play" so to speak. Any info on the difference? Maybe I should be asking Throwdown...lol
Btw who's black Accord is that in the back? Two nice ass Accords...also, whatever happened to Vixen's sedan? I tried looking for her progress thread at 8thgen and couldn't find it.

Best... writeup... ever.... not only is it video, it's also edited well and clear. Excellent job.
Chassis bracing is one of the most underrated mods ever, glad to hear it's working out well. How has it changed ride quality, if any?

The RSB i got was the UR 22mm RSB, Progress has 22mm but i don't know about the 25mm .. The positive about the UR RSB is that they are fully solid and not just tubular like many out there
Yeah i agree this is the first time i do a Chassis Kit, and it's just something i don't understand why i didn't do it sooner.
I have Magnaflow Cat-back exhaust. Which is made for our 8th Gen Coupe's. I have No- Resonator, with RV6 Long Tube J-Pipe.

No change to camber or alignment with a chassis kit, only when lowering by springs or coilovers

Check out the OP's website. Throwdown Performance - Throwdown Performance - The Race Starts & Finishes Here! - Homepage
If you can't find parts under the TSX, look under an 8th Gen Accord. Suspension parts fit across both platforms as indicated.
