You'll get a TPMS error light but if you can ignore it then you don't need TPMS sensors

They don't have to be OEM per se, but they will have to be the ones that are said to be compatible with our cars. Like how an aftermarket unpainted fender or bumper would only fit our cars if it was actually made for our cars... it's sort of similar (with a bit more flexibility) with our TPMS.

For example, if you search on eBay for 2009 TSX TPMS, I'm guessing most of these aftermarket sensors will work. However, 90% of these aren't the same part you'd actually get if you had gone to an Acura dealership (i.e., these aren't OEM). So depending on what you have, they may or may not work.

A side effect of not having functional TPMS is that you won't be able to disable VSA.

If the TPMS warning light bothers you, a piece of black electrical tape can fix that.
