Question have you lowered your tsx?

So im tired of the 4X4 status... as seen below

details about the car :
2010 / TSX / I4 / TECH / 18 BLACK CHROME ASPEC'S

wondering if any of my fellow i4 second generation tsxers have lowered there vehicle...

specifically, on springs...

1 : how low did you go?
2 : did you install camber kits?
3 : what brand?
4 : how do you like it?
5 : most importantly are your tires wearing UNEVEN?

and before anyone gives me, the "did you search routine"...
yes i have looked all those threads, i am very familiar with them.
however im looking for a more detailed responce, specific to the second gen tsx's that have been lowered for a while before i bring it closer to earth...

any help would be greatly appreciated

specifically, on springs...

1 : how low did you go? 1 inch
2 : did you install camber kits? No, but do have an SPC kit sitting in the garage.
3 : what brand? Honda Sports Suspension (Aspec) from Europe
4 : how do you like it? Love the improved handling, firmer ride but not too harsh and looks great.
5 : most importantly are your tires wearing UNEVEN? It's been 13 months and 20,000 miles (32,000km), no uneven wear at all.

I have a wife and two kids, so one inch is plenty enough for me.

The Euro suspension is from Lings Honda in the UK.

The Tein S Techs are closer to 2" after they settle.
I don't have a camber kit but am finally going for an alignment on Saturday.
It handles amazing and doesnt change the comfort at all IMO.
Tires idk I haven't looked, nor do I really care.

Talking awesome...

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE QUICK RESPONCES!
RastaRacer, YOUR CAR LOOKS (LOOKED) AMAZING...

Thats the drop im looking for.... (tein s techs)

i would like to get a couple more opinions on tire wear, before i jump the gun, only because not recognizing tire wear, and not having tire wear
are 2 very differnt things....

but i truely appreciate all the input!

do we have a vendor that we can get s-techs from, or should i just order em straight?

HeelToe Automotive is the forum vendor, Marcus is great person to deal with. They are selling the S-Tech for $290 with free shipping. Type in coupon code acurazinerocks to get another 5% off. Don't buy direct from Tein, the list price is $355.

2 : did you install camber kits? no
3 : what brand? H&R
4 : how do you like it? Honestly, I wish I went lower..maybe s-techs or coilovers. For now though, they were everything I expected

An alignment is prudent thing to do after letting the springs settle for about a week after installation, toe kills tires not camber.

1 : how low did you go? whatever the specs are for S-Techs
2 : did you install camber kits? Nope, don't need to
3 : what brand? Tein S-techs
4 : how do you like it? LOVE Em, I had H-techs on my 1st generation TSX and I always regretted getting em since I wanted it lower.
5 : most importantly are your tires wearing UNEVEN?
Nope had them on for a year and only general wear.

here was my thread when I got them done
https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-tires-wheels-suspension-300/s-techs-installed-747188/

and here is her a year later

1 : An alignment is prudent thing to do after about a week !
-------i completly agree

2: toe kills tires
-------i completly agree

3: not camber.
--------camber still wears tires, just not near as much as toe
(toe i can adjust for)
--------i just want to know that if i do need to adjust camber, i can

http://heeltoeauto.com/httech/YaBB.p...1162587420/0#0 -
I Read it before to completly understand what the drop will do...

quote : "Now, you can see how the tire is worn more toward the inside...that's camber wear"

quote : "Look how aggressively the tire has worn on the inside edge. The cords are even showing. This wear is caused by TOE angle."

That last quote is the exact reason im spending time doing my research rather than just going for looks...
and im not so much worried about buying tires, as much as i am worried about hearing an abnoxious tire roar from uneven wear on the tires..... specially running low profile tires...

1 : how low did you go?
Till 1 finger gap all around

2 : did you install camber kits?
Yes - SPC

3 : what brand?
Tein SS

4 : how do you like it?
Superb! Handling is more responsive, ride is smooth, stance is just right.

5 : most importantly are your tires wearing UNEVEN?
I've had 2 alignments (1 after the coilover install and 1 after the camber kit install) - no uneven wear and I have travelled 20,000kms

my front camber is on point.. i only have like 500 miles on my springs so no bad wear.
the rears are at -2.8 but with camber arms you get up to 3 degrees of movement.
i hate the caster readings because i can feel the harsh steering and the vibration from it.

anyone else experiencing this with the lowering springs?
caster out of spec, stiff steering, and or vibration?

Check my Signature. Spring of 09 was on Springs Eibachi 1.5 drop. No camber kit No uneven wear.

Fall of 2009 Slammed on Coilovers.. No camber kit for the first 15k miles.. Noticed a little uneven wear installed camber kit on rear. Been 15k miles Uneven wear un noticeable.

I rotate tires continuously. Recently had em turned around on the rims.

1 : how low did you go? 1.5 - Slammed
2 : did you install camber kits?1.5 = no Slammed = Yes .. Rear is all you need Front camber auto adjust.
3 : what brand? Eibachi Springs, Tein-ss Coilovers, SPC Camber kit.
4 : how do you like it? I loved both. I love the slammed look because it makes the car look very very clean.
5 : most importantly are your tires wearing UNEVEN? 1.5 - No Slammed - A little, but corrected with camber kit.

DOOOO EEEEEETTTTT !!!!!!!

P.S. My tires were rated for 20k miles, I've got 30k miles on them and they're still nearly 50% tread. All miles while vehicle was lowered.. I also drive like a maniac around turns etc.
