Flat tire
Flat tire
So driving back home, and the low tire pressure warning light comes on. I’m like big deal, Acura is going stupid again, after a blown speaker, and the gas lid open light.
So I keep going 110 km/h in the left lane on the freeway, like a boss.
Then the warning light turns red and TPMS light goes on, and the car starts beeping.
The experience was straight out of those Airplane crash documentaries on youtube when random lights and sounds pop up. I was like what the fuck is going on, cause everything felt fine.
Anyways I got my car to the right lane, and I hear the tire go flat.
Take the nearest exit and pull into a hotel parking lot. Sitting in the car, I realize TPMS just save me from getting raptured.
This made be convert from Obamaism to TPMSism.
[Change I can believe, tire pressure that is]

It turns out a nail was the culprit, not some crazy forum member who thinks Austria is the home of kangaroos.

Call Acura Roadside Service, who couldn’t track me using my phone or the car’s nav. Jolly nice of them to try though. I get the Spare put on, which I could of done myself to impress the 70+ ladies waiting for their bus in the hotel lobby. However, with my tire being deflated and these grandmas couldnt help my manhood get inflated, so let Acura pay for something.
I have to say steely’s on a Basque does look good. Future rims???

Not wanting to pay a hideous price for the hideous French OEM weak sauce MXM4's, :surrender I was confused and lost like a boss
. I only had 17,600 miles on my car, so I had to make a hard decision on getting a new tire, which would of cost me $$
I found my way back to TSX nirvana thanks to KillerG’s teachings.
He suggested that I get some Hankook Ventus V12 evo k110. Now as I type this I think listening to KillerG may not be that wise. I mean this is the guy with cardboard led fogs lights, sport pedals w/o a complete deadpedal(= no pussy, not even French), AND HID fogs that blew up.
Doing more independent research, I heard very good things about theses tires. They got number 2 place in a test LINK by caranddriver, the only unbiased journalism left in this wonderful country of ours
. The only con I heard of these tires is that they suck in light rain, cuz the light rain brings out the oils from the road out. I guess that means I won’t be driving whenever the sprinklers are on.
In order to get the half Hankook experience, I brought two tires, and sold one of the MXM4 to another Acura owner in need of a new tire for free basically. I rotated the Hankook's to the front, and the old MXM4's to the back.

I have only driven it for like 4 miles, but my first impression is that there a lot more grip when turning into a corner. However, I feel more bumps then usually, but that could be the result of 36 PSI I have in the front tires right now, or me just being spoiled driving a GS for a couple of days when my car was out of commission. Ill update you guys on how everything is in the very near future, before the rapture comes AGAIN.
Here is a beautiful pic of a shade of basque, having to read shit that is mostly irrelevant.

Love your writeup and your story. You made fixing a problem sound really fun here.
I just recently got a nail puncture in my tire, but neither the low pressure indicator or any noticeable change in actual tire pressure is evident to me. I'm trying to figure out what exactly I should do...
I take it you didn't just patch your tire because it deflated all the way?
