Smile Best way of improving handling without lowering the car?

I got the 2010 V6. Living in Toronto, Canada, I don't want to lower the car if I have the choice. Is there any coil over / shock and spring system that will improve the quality of ride and handling with lowering the car to the minimum?
Thanks for any feedback in advance!

That is an excellent idea. My real concern is , right now, the feel of the ride is too comfortable, not enough inter-reaction with the road . I don't want is to be as bumpy as my 2001 audi A6 4.2 with bilstein/ebach . May be the change to either Cont. DW or bridgestone performance summer tires would help! Thanks for your suggestion!

Front strut tower brace, rear sway bar, and summer tires. Not sure if all available for the TSX?

There are kits available but you will most certainly have to deal with at least a one-inch drop. Check out a few of the vendors' websites from the forum and I'm sure you can find something. I don't advocate just getting springs alone. Usually people do that to cheaply drop their vehicle.

If you want to and are serious about improving the handling, a good coilover kit, maybe Tein Basics and a progress rear-sway bar with the upgraded Endlink kit would be right up your alley. But anytime you lower you'll have to adjust camber. That will require the adjustable camber kit. Those aren't cheap. And then I'm sure you'll want to throw on some good rubber. Pirelli and Bridgestone are first to come to mind.

Endlinks - 130
Sway Bar - 160
Coilovers - 1,000
camber kit - 400 per set
tires - 1,500
---------------------------------------
~$3,200+

And that is just a basic setup but at least it is done right.

Or you can just a very good set of summer tires and a rear sway bar with the endlink kit and you'll at least have a little more fun in the corners. But remember, a rear-sway bar doesn't affect forward motion. You'll only be able to tell its' affect when cornering at speed.

Also, do not forget about some quality performance tires.

I did a little more research and found these. They require no adjustable camber kit. Read the article and you'll see why.

If you really want to feel the road more and improve handling up-size your OEM 18 inch rims to 19 and get some low-profile summer tires. I see you're 58--I'm going to assume you just want to improve the handling and don't really want the boy-racer look.

Spacers also help with handling, wider track = better handling

i would first start with sway bars because they're cheaper and would have the most profound effect (depending on the increase in stiffness). do both front and back, not just the back.

if you want more improvement, get coilovers.

you do not need to upsize your wheels, you do not need spacers for a wider track, all these things are for show, not go.

Would anyone know what is the thickness of the OEM sway bars. Acura call them stabilizers. The face that Acura uses the same part number for both 4 cylinder and V6 engine sway bars, can I use the same aftermarket bar for V6?

RSB installed! Want a difference! I even felt the suspensions get stiffen up too, don't know why? I was just expected it to improve on my cornering ability! Very worthwhile modification!

Anyone interested in a OEM RSB from a 2010 V6!

if you guys can use the 3rd gen TL rear sway bars, they're offered in the black market all the time.

you'll want the type-s one as its I BELIEVE a solid 20mm bar.
where as my 6mt base sway bar is a 19 or 20mm HOLLOW bar.
the auto TL's have the weakest bar at 17mm.

if they do fit, dont pay more than $40.

Also, the vee-sixer's can benefit from a stickier summer tire. It will help with acceleration as you can put the pedal to the metal without trying to fight torque steer as much.
cornering is improved as well.
