Thanks Norm! Didn't do the camber kit as the drop is not super aggressive (~1 3/8" drop). The ride so far is very comfy. However, I haven't had a chance to drive over rough pavement yet. Total cost on the Megan EZ coilovers was $640 shipped. Great bang for the buck and the quality of C/O far exceeded my expectations.

BBS FTW!

Are those wheels like a satin center and a gloss-ish lip?

Found these BBS on craigslist and hand them refinished and painted in Honda PMM, the same color as the family MDX. They are 19x8 + 45 running 245/40. No rolling but über close to the fender lip with coils.

Still debating whether or not to use a 10mm spacer in the rear. If I do, I will definitely have to roll the fenders.

Looks really good, a strong argument for 40 series tire on 19s.

So outta curiosity...does this mean deuces to the factory warranty? I been wondering about this issue the whole time, specially when I buy my coils.

I was thinking of raising it to stock height if it has to come into the shop then slam it when its done lol...

That's a great looking set up. I've never been a fan of mesh wheels, but those work really well with the car.

Any feedback on those Megan EZs? I'm interested to know how they ride and if you've played with any of the settings yet. Thanks.

Thanks Puppet! The Megans are working out really well. Keep in mind this is my daily driver and not an auto-x'er. So far, I am very impressed with the Megan EX coils. It's quiet like the an OE setup but the added benefit of strut firmness adjustability is a real winner. I currently have the fronts set to 5 clicks away from max and 7 clicks away from max in the rears. The comfort level is just a bit stiffer compared to OE while handling and responsiveness to turn in are excellent and quick. Having used Tein SS in previous vehicles, I preferred the Megan EZ over Tein SS for my daily driving and ride comfort.

Exactly what I wanted to know, thanks. I've had various spring/strut set ups previously myself (Tokico struts, Progress, H&R, Tein springs) as well as a set of Tein SS, which I thought were pretty good actually, definitely better than most spring/strut combos. I'm just always wary of most budget brands like BC, Megan, D2, even Tein, since quality can be iffy. Like you, my interest in these is only for daily driving really - as much as I like the stock ride, it can do with a little less body roll. Good to hear that there are no issues thus far.

So there are no noises at all? What drives me nuts about certain coilovers are the squeaks and rattles, which is why I chose the Tein SS on my previous car, since they reused the stock rubber upper mount which reduced the likelihood of metal on metal type noise issues. Thanks again for the response.

It's definitely a quiet setup. Tein SS wasn't exactly all quietr. You will be amazed at the quality of these Megan EZ coils.

No sport bumpers or sides. May may with the OEM side skirts later. Just not feeling the flares in the sports bumper design.

Thanks. I may have to look into the EZs myself. Not sure I like that they have 5 kg springs in the rear though, might see if they can put 7 or 8 kg in instead.
