Need some answers. I purchased a set of lexani 20 inch wheels. At first the shop did not give me hub centric rings so naturally i felt a whole lot of shaking at high speeds so i go back get the hub centric rings and didnt feel anything at all ..couple days later same funny feeling . took it to sears had them re balance and wheel alignment done so far so good . but the thing is the shaking and funny feeling wasnt consistant it was sometimish .question is is this normal especially coming froma 17 inch wheel to a 20 ?

I am not a professional at this but I would think No, you should not feel this shake. I just recently upgraded from stocks to 19's. Had the hubcentric rings installed with wheels. No shaking at all. If all rings are install properly and they are not broken you shouldn't feel this. Just my two cents.

Looks like a balance issue, may be one of the weight fell off. Other possibilities may be damaged wheel, defective tires or bearing issue.

Try rotate your back to front, if shaking disappear, then you narrow to the wheel and tires.

maybe your hub centering rings are the wrong size?

can you find out the center bore of your lexani wheels?

i just bought some centering rings for my 19's and i got rid of shakings

here's my centering size:
72.6mm OD x 64.1mm ID bought a set of 4 plastic rings off amazon for $8

you need to figure out your center bore of your 20's and that will be your OD(outside diameter)

72.6mm OD (outside diameter) is the center bore for my 19' and most aftermarket rims.
64.1mm ID (inside diameter) is the center hub for most hondas/acuras
