Hello everyone,

Just picked myself up a 12' GLM wagon and fortunately for me, it needs new tires, so I might as well get myself a whole new wheel/tire package. Did my research and just wanted to double check that my set up would work without any fender mods.

18x8.5 ET35 Miro 111s in black OR Avant Garde M310 in grey
245/40/18
1-1.25" drop on coil overs

I noticed more folks are running 235s over the 245s, but I'd like to go with a bit more sidewall, for the sake of the wheels (and because my wife's tendency to hit potholes on the regular)!

The rears will be close to rubbing; but I cannot confirm for sure. 8.5 +35 is, generally speaking, the limit before the rears start to rub onto the fender lip. With 245/40s on an 8.5" wide wheel, I'm thinking they just might as that's a pretty meaty+wide tire for a 8.5" wide wheel.

 

Seems like most of the wheels in my price range are et35, although I came across these that are et38, which I'm assuming I'd be OK.
