18" rim option and tire size

Hi, so I'm new to this forum and would appreciate all your help. I'm driving a 2010 base in PWP and am looking to upgrade my rims. I'm going to put my winter tires on the stock rims and want to buy 18s for my summer/all season tires

with regards to rims, I have my heart set on either:

1. Enkei Raijin's in black (18x8 +45 offset)
HTML Code:

2. TSW Interlagos in black (18x8 +35 offset)
HTML Code:

what do you guys think will look better, considering I plan on staying with stock suspension

with regards to tires, is 245/40/18 the right size i should be using? Are 245 too wide for an 8inch rim?

all your help is greatly appreciated!

245 on my 19's. they are 8 wide.

i guess it depends on the look.

but with stock suspension i would think the bigger the better on tires.

245/40/18 is right.

225/50/17 = 25.86 in diameter

245/40/18 = 25.72 in diameter.

almost exact on the diameter is what you want. wont mess with speedo in any noticeable way. or warranty or traction control.

try a tire calc like 1010tires.com

pretty much what rob said, since you are staying on stock suspension i think the fatter the tire the better because it make the gap smaller. Also this is my opinion and you do not have to listen to me, but I think you should get either the gunmetal finish or the Hyper silver finish. I personally absolutely hate black wheels. not that they look bad, but they look like they just disappear into the wheel well.

Hi,

Am using Advan RS 18x8 +45 with 225/40R18 tires on my TSX 2007. Thinking of changing to PS3. Will any of these 3 sizes be an issue of rubbing the fender? I do not want to fender roll. Thanks.
1. 225/45R18
2. 235/45R18
3. 235/40R18
