Where to store exhaust
What do the people with aftermarket exhausts do with the old parts? The exhaust is way too big to fit anywhere but the kitchen floor of my house. I have a backyard screen fence thing lol and I put it on the roof of it. For now its staying there. IDK what material our stock exhaust is made of so IDK if it will rust. If it will eventually rust I will probably sell it to a scrape collector though I rather keep it just in case.

The obvious place for me would be my basement or attic. Although not everybody has one so that not always an option lol.
I don't think it will rust... it goes on your car and cars are kept outside.

Well i guess you could wrap them up with something to try and keep some of the moisture out. saran wrap? duct tape?

^I thought the same thing but the rusted and seized bolts is what made me worry. I wrapped those parts in plastic bags but know i wish i used saran wrap aahaha

Of course exhausts will rust - often from the inside out. The bolts and brackets aren't stainless so they'll rust in any case so you should remove any extra brackets before you store it.
The trick will be getting and keeping moisture out of the exhaust.
I'd try to find a nice dry spot to get it dried out. When you think it is dry then stuff (and seal) some desiccant in either end and leave it for a week. Take it out and replace with fresh desiccant, seal it up real well and wrap the whole thing in that industrial strength saran wrap rolls that are used for wrapping boxes.
Then, put the whole thing in a box and leave it in a protected area.
