Tweeting noise from fan motor?
Hey y'all. I was wondering if anyone has experienced a problem when you first start the car (cold start). Each time I start the car the blower fan motor for the A/C and heating system makes a loud tweeting noise(under the passenger glove box). It goes away after the car warms up, but I'm worried it could turn into a long term problem. I had the same issue on my 2003 Volkswagen Passat, but it was fixed. When you adjust the fan speed higher the tweet becomes more rapid.
The dealer could not duplicate it several times and then the last visit told me its something to do with it pushing fluids through a system when the fan module is cold. They also cleaned out filters, etc. to resolve the issue, but nothing has worked.
Again, this loud tweeting sound is originating from under the passenger glove box and above the passenger footwell...inside the lower dash. Is anyone else experienceing this issue? It happens regardless of the A/C on or off.

It is likely blower the fan motor. My wife's toyota does that, and it goes away after a minute. Cure is to replace the motor, but dealer has to "experience" it first. maybe you can leave the car with them overnight with clear instructions that they need to look for this noise as soon asnthey start the car.
