Is there finally a fix for the windshield molding?

I got a call from Fountain Acura in Orlando the other day saying they have a fix for the windshield clips and to make an appointment for me. In my excitement, I forgot to ask a couple important questions, namely:
Is this an official fix from Acura or just replacing the same clips that will break again?
If it is the official fix, will both side be replaced?

Anyone else have information about this.

They will only fix the side that is messed up. As you saw in the other thread my car had it on the driver's side. After going in a couple times they finally fixed it with some 3m adhesive. They said it was an official Acura fix. All I know is that I haven't had anymore problems out of it. Good luck with yours!

When I had my new windshield put in 6 weeks ago, there was not a fix, they put silicon adhesive with the clips for assurance.
