Steering wheel noise & noise when in Reverse

Just got my TSX very recently. It's got about 200 miles on it and I've noticed a sound coming from the engine when I put it in reverse and press the gas (it also vibrates a bit when in R) the sound is kind of like a tiny motor or something, hard to describe.. maybe this is normal but neither of my previous two cars had this.

Also when I turn the wheel it has a weird sound almost as if something is causing friction and needs to be lubricated.

theyre nothing big but do get annoying, especially since im a musician and my ear picks up any little sound thats out of the ordinary.

I really dont want to take it to the dealer, but eh if i gotta do it then it is what it is.

The little motor might be the passenger door mirror tilting down. Is your mirror adjuster joystick clicked over to "R"? If so, try moving it to the left or center then engage reverse, if thats the noise, it will not be there unless the selector is in "R" for right.

The wheel makes a slight plastic-on-plastic sound. It seems to be a characteristic of the electric power steering. I've noticed it but it doesn't bother me anymore.

the weird thing is when i frst got the tsx i never noticed either of the sounds.

i guess i just pay too much atttention to little details. ill take it to the dealer and see what it might be.

That sound in reverse is normal on an MT, as the gear for reverse is just straight cut so its noisy. But that's weird on a AT... ask your dealer.
