2012 Base model 4 cyl with 150K that has developed a shudder/vibration during acceleration. Pretty significant shudder from 10-30 mph from what feels like the passenger side that you can still notice above 40 mph as a vibration.

• Replaced both axle shafts (boots were leaking already)
• Replaced both steering knuckle assemblies (felt slight play in one of the wheel bearings)
• Rotated tires

No change in shudder vibration. The only thing left is the intermediate shaft right? Motor or transmission mounts do not appear to be bad and those do not make sense given how the symptom presents itself. No shudder or vibration while revving in neutral.
Has anyone experienced this issue that was fixed with the replacement of the intermediate shaft? I wish I had the means to mount a camera under the car in order to see if I could tell where the issue is coming from but the problem is driving me nuts.

Yes the tires are balanced. Shudder/vibration is only during acceleration. Does not occur when coasting.

If you go the half shaft route next, the best thing would be to find a salvage unit or change the bearing & seal because that thing new is expensive.

I looked on rock auto for the intermediate shaft replacement part and they have one from Rock Auto for $70:

I found the same exact part on Amazon through their resale site listed as "Like New" for $15. Will be here on Sunday. Its worth $15 to see if that fixes the issue. Worst case it does not, best case it does and I make my way to the salvage yard to get an OEM replacement at some point.
