overhead interior lights and vanity lights not working

Hey...just picked up a SE 2012 tsx and noticed the interior lights wont go on. I switched the thing to the setting to turn on when the door is open and still nothing. Anyone know what is going on?

have you done a LED swap or touched the bulbs? could be a blown fuse?

There is a switch on thevoverhead for the maps and the big overhead in the backseat has a switch too.

I didn't do any mods or anything...just picked it up brand new from the dealer. Sounds like a fuse could be out but unsure how this could happen since i just picked it up with 2 miles on it and I'm sure they have some sort of quality control for this sort of stuff.

what switch are you talking about? I know the one where you can set it for going on when the door is open but is there another one?

yup....even if i push the light in it wont go on, in the front or back. I'm going to give them a call. Hopefully this is an easy fix.

Good luck with fix. If all of them are out at the same time, I tend to think it's an issue with the fuse, which should be straightforward. Please keep us posted!

yup keep us posted... the only issue i find with the fuse is that there are actually 2 diff fuses. i know 1 has the drivers side door lights + something, and the other fuse has the rest. i remember when someone blew a fuse installing LED's, and like 3 of the lights worked and the rest didnt or something

Sorry to beat a dead horse.. but which fuse was blown? There is 2 Acc fuses under the dash; One is a 7.5 and one is a 15. My interior lights did the same thing as I was changing out the stock bulbs for LED's.

Hey, I recently tried putting in LEDs. and I'm pretty sure they blew a fuse. Has anyone figured out which fuse it is?
It'd help me out.

Thanks,
Kevin
