Hi! Im new here. Hope you may help me with a problem with my moonroof (acura tsx 2012)

Well, to begin with, the Mods will likely move this to the 2G TSX forum. I'd recommend posting in that forum for any technical questions on your TSX. Second, you'll probably need to describe the problem in detail if you want any real help.

Welcome to the board.

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a topic/technical issue which will require replies, and not a "New Member Introduction", I moved this thread to the model specific forum.

I'm having a hard time understanding the situation. But it sounds like you push the switch to auto close the sunroof and when it gets to the end of it's travel, it stops and reopens.

If so, it sounds like it might be out of adjustment and binding towards the end. There is a safety precaution built into the windows that keep them from trying to keep closing if they meet with enough resistance (like if a baby's or dog's head gets stuck in there).

Maybe just needs to have the track and drive mechanisms lubed?

Hello, I am having a similar problem with my 2009 TSX moon roof. It is currently "stuck" in the partially closed tilted position. The motor "clicks" when switch is moved to either open or closed dorections, but the moonroof does not move.

I have attempted to reset by following other reset instruction, but nothing has changed.

Is there a manual way to close the moon roof like in 1G TSX models?

Hey johngriffes, I'm having the same problem. Did you find a resolution yet?
