Intake installation problem

Ok im going to describe this the best I can. I was screwing on a hose adapter to the intake tube and it snapped in half so I shaves the hoes it was suppose to be connected to and used a metal clamp you have to remove and used it to hold it al together. Surprisingly my little DIY worked but im concern about it popping off. What are your opinions about it? should I just remove my intake?

That just looks like a PCV hose from the pcv valve on the valve cover. There's no pressure on it, no coolant, just vacuum, you should be fine. If it does break off & you can't reattach it, you might want to think about plugging it & installing one of those Mickey Mouse vent filters on the PCV valve.
