How do I know if my car has been taken in for brake recall?
Is there a way to check online? I bought my car used so I don't know if it has been taken in yet. Thanks in advance.

If your car has been taken to a dealership for a brake recall. The first important thing you would notice is a dot on top of your VIN marked by the dealer who has done that work on your car. If there isn't, you probably should first try to get in touch with your seller and then an Acura dealer to find out about this.

You can also check this thread to make sure your TSX falls into the VIN numbers that would even need servicing. This can help determine if you need to get records pulled up at the dealership.

WTH happened to my garage
Look up under the back of your car, look through the casting...window? on the brake caliper...if you see the little pyramid shaped spring inside your caliper, it had the recall done or, as menioned above, per the VIN, never needed it.

You could also look in my gallery at the instructions outlining the reversal of the caliper pin location as installed by the factory to make sure that part was completed also.
