High pitch noise when using curise control

I have a 2012 tsx, when I am on the highway going about 75-80, my car makes this high pitch noise coming from the front of my car. When I slow down or turn off the cruise control, it stops. It lasts a few seconds but happens every (and I really mean every) minute while using my curise control. Any ideas?

I have a 2012 TSX SE and I used to hear a high pitch squealing sound briefly when shifting. I don't seem to hear this anymore (900 miles).
I have used my cruise control but never noticed a high pitched noise.
I will listen closer next time and report back.

Is your A/C on or is the Climate Control in Auto mode? Try cycling the A/C off. I have noticed that at speeds above 65mph if the A/C is on I get a high pitched whine that last a few seconds. It seems to whistle about as frequently as I would expect the A/C components to cycle. If I turn off the A/C it goes away. It's winter so I am not using the A/C. I haven't brought it in for diagnosis but I will.

I am having this exact issue on my 2011 6MT Tech. I will hear a high pitched whine from the right side of the car for about 2-4 seconds. I get it at lower speeds too.

Is the sound worse when your radio is on? I know that sounds like a contradiction, but it seems as though the whine might be coming through the speakers.

I have a similar issue..although it is not from using cruise control. However when I am cruising at around 80 mph, I would here a whistling noise coming for the engine bay. I posted a thread as well. Taking it to dealer tomorrow.

Same issue with my 2010! I am bringing it in on Monday, I just do not want to hear they could not replicate. Mine typically happens on the highway after about 10 minutes of driving. I do have my climate control on auto. I will switch it off and see if I still hear it. I have never heard it while the car was stopped. I seem to be able to extend it by mashing the gas when it happens. I have heard it with cruise on too.

Dealer could not duplicate the noise. I have not heard it today either. I have some parts on order (heated seat switch and chrome trim around the window). Once those are in I will take try again.

Just an update, its really cold here and the noise has gone away. I have a year left on the warranty. I hope it comes back during the summer.
