Door Lock sound excessively loud

So I noticed a few people mentioned this in the blown speaker thread, so I decided to start a new thread for this issue because I'm having it. Haven't actually put my ear to it to see where it's coming from, but I can hear my car lock and unlock from probably 50 yards away. Very loud clicking sound. This doesn't seem right.

I'm really curious to see who's having the same issue. And has anyone done anything about it?

Thanks.

Mine isn't a click, it's a screech from the left rear door lock actuator. They're on backorder, supposedly. As far as a loud clicking, I haven't heard it or thought it was excessive.

Oh, yeah, that's been mentioned before too. There's a little one way flap valve in the lower quarter panel under the bumper cover. It's there to let pressure out of the cabin. I think it also helps keep fresh air in the cabin when driving to flush out any errant exhaust fumes that might enter if it were a vacuum in there.

When you close the doors or trunk kinda hard, it's like a little blow off valve, lol.

Same problem here!! When the driver side rear door unlocks there is often a screeching noise. It is very annoying. I may mention it to the service department when I drop it off in the morning.
