Cylinder misfires after driving through puddle
2013 TSX. 92K MILES. COLD AIR INTAKE. NO UNDERSIDE ENGINE GUARD.
I was driving during a rain storm on highway about 40-50. MPH I drive through some waves of water and puddles but not through anything deep. Suddenly, the engine indicator started blinking and right away, I realized I didn't have much power accelerating over 30 MPH. So I pulled over and turned the engine off for 10 minutes, per the manual. After turning on the engine, the engine indicator wasn't blinking and it didnt come back on for the rest of my 10 minute drive to a friend's house.
I had my friend check the codes with a scanner and the following codes came up: P0300, P0302, P303. He suggested I change my spark plugs but I never told him about driving through water. I only realized that driving through water can cause engine misfires after doing some research online. The car drove fine on my 45 minute drive back home by the way. If it's driving fine and the engine indicator doesn't come back on, do I need to change the spark plugs still? Is there something else I should do instead to avoid this cost? Any advice on this matter would help. Thanks in advance

The TSX engine is pretty well sealed off, how many miles are on your plugs? It would be pretty amazing to get water under the cover and into the plug area, but the coil packs are easy to pull out check to see if any are wet.

It would be more likely for a slug of water to be ingested into air filter box and cause missing than water on plugs or COP's. Check air filter for water dampness although probably dry by now, there could be water in the bottom of the air filter box.
good luck

See attached for pics of coil packs. They look dry and one of them has discoloration. If the engine indicator light doesn't come back and no other mechanical issue comes up, can disregard the codes?
