Creaking from Sunroof when on Tilt
I recently noticed that when my sunroof is on "tilt" there are some random creaking sounds when going over small bumps in the road. Anyone else experience this? No sounds when the sunroof is fully closed or opened.

I haven't had this specific issue but when I "tilt" my sunroof I hear a creaking sound. I tried lubing the rail but the sound is still there. I wonder if it's the rubber of the weatherstrip rubbing against something?

I used silicon dielectric compound to lube the weatherstripping all arouond the sunroof. Made all tyoes of rubber on metal sounds due to body flexing go away.
It has the same efftect as the honda "shin estsu" grease. (i dont have it so i use silicone dielectric stuff- and much cheaper

Honda recommends the Shin-Etsu Silicone grease for lubing the rubber door seals etc. Every time I wash my car, I lube up the sunroof since it gets the most exposure to UV and I don't want it to dry out and crack. To lube it up, you have to tilt it to get the back and part of the sides, then open it a little bit to get the front, then I put a little excess on the metal itself to cover the part of the seal you can't get to. Works like a charm, no more creaking.
