Cheapest way of fixing bumper?
Alrite so...I let someone drive my car and long story short I need a new bumper, inner fender, and lower engine shields.
The damage can be seen here: http://imgur.com/a/DSaXF
My question is, what do you guys think will be the easiest way to fix this?
I narrowed it down to either:
Fixing this bumper
Buying a used bumper off of eBay with damage (but not as extensive damage as my bumper) and fixing that bumper up
Getting a new primed bumper and painting it
Aero bumper is a no, I don't like the way it particularly looks...
Any suggestions?

poor baby =(
i don't know for the holes, but if there are any dents, heat gun plus can of compressed air worked amazingly for me and my friend fixing his altima bumper. the paint didn't even crack and it was a bad dent on the corner. larger than a softball. we actually had no heatgun so we used a shitty hairdryer on max heat, prob took a bit more time but it worked.
the general idea is to heat from inside the bumper(no paint, straight to the metal, better conductor). let it heat a good amount(be liberal, you cant overcook it haha) then use force to push the dent out from the inside. i just used my palm while under the car. maybe you can get leverage with something. and have a buddy spray a can of compressed air upside down from the painted side of the bumper. its cold and contracts the materials, pulling the dent out with your force putting it into the right shape. remember that its harder to mend when colder so you gotta be quick about it. rinse and repeat until you achieve desired results. no ideas for the holes that would look nice though

I know. ):
I let a female friend drive it around the parking lot. She somehow managed to hit a fence despite my screaming of "BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES BRAKES" and pulling of the emergency brake. That thing doesn't work very well.
But yeah, I'm going to try to do a temp. fix on the dent and sand the area around the hole down a bit and see what a body shop can do first, and if that proves too expensive, I might just buy a bumper offa eBay and get the small scuffs fixed.

Get a new one:

Other option is to phone around and see if anyone has upgraded their PWP TSX to aero bumper and buy the stock one from them. Call around local Acura dealers or post a WTB ad in the forum Black Market.

yea anytime i've let anyone drive my car, first of all, i know they can drive. i also keep my hand on the shifter. if anything i toss it into neutral and ebrake it. ebrake doesn't work as well in drive while your still trying to accelerate =P

just a life lesson, be careful who you let into your drivers seat, no matter what, friends, gf, best friends, whoever it is, no matter how cool they are. In the end, if something goes wrong, you will foot the bill, or your insurance will.

Nigg exposed my real name on the public forum HAHA.
It's right by my CAI too man!
I still don't know what to do. Anyone got a picture of a PWP with only the front aero?

Ugh I'm still torn on this.
I wanna get the stock bumper but it'll take a week of my car being in the body shop and everything.
But getting the Aero numper makes everything so easy. I'm just not sure I like the look because I wanted to put a lip kit on eventually...

Dude, they told you that it was going to take about a week in the body shop? Why don't you get the bumper and all the parts you need, drop the bumper off to get painted which should be only a few days, and install it yourself. Save money on install, and you will get the convenience of having your car during that time frame.

find someone close enough to you that has your color tsx. get the aero. give them the aero, take their stock bumper. maybe get a few bucks from them if the aero > stock to make it more even. or consider it a fair trade for expenses and time you save.
i know i know, im brilliant

Did you try any online used part store? Perhaps you get lucky and find same color totaled rear ended TSX.

WTH happened to my garage
The thing about shipping a bumper is it has to go in a box the size of your front door, and about 2 feet thick. I wouldn't even consider a junkyard piece.
Pyro Dave's idea is perfect.

There's really no one I know around here with a second gen TSX. I've seen them around, but I seriously do not know anyone around here with one!
I think I have a good idea with what imma do though...or well the the voice inside my head has a good idea of what it wants to do! haha.

try posting a thread here checking who is around your area with your color. check craigslist, hell maybe even talk to the service guys at your acura dealership. "hey if you have anyone with a 2nd gen TSX in *insert color here* come in for service, can ya ask them if they are interested in a free aero bumper as a trade for their stock bumper, have them give me a call at 1800-douchebag(or whatever your number is)" i doubt sales would give you any info on who bought the same color as you. service dept may very well be able to help you though
if anything, it'd be worth a 1-2 hour drive if theres some distance between you, just saying. easy to ship a bumper when its just in the backseat/trunk of your car. remember, our seats fold down. fairly nice flatbed that a bumper would easily fit on.
