18x9 +30, 225/40/18 (F)
18x10 +38, 245/35/18 (R)
I wanted to do 255/35/18 rear, as it would be less of a stretch. But I found these amazing Michelin PSS for a steal, so I couldn't pass them up. I'm very happy with how they turned out, but I do agree it could've been a tad meatier. The pics don't show, but the fronts poke a bit though. So 235s likely would rub even at my current height, which isn't that low at all. Ideally it would've been 18x9 +38 fronts with the same spec rears, then I'd have a bit more room to play with thicker rubber.
My plan was to lower a tad more to try and fill the wheel wells a bit more, or at least give the illusion of that. However I'm scraping something everytime I get to the girlfriend's place now because the sidewall is smaller than my OEM setup, so even on 18s I'm actually lower than on my stock 17s. It sounds metallic.. maybe exhaust. So I likely won't be able to lower it anymore.
I have a few things left to install... but all in due time. It actually snowed a tiny bit last night lmao. Fucken Canada. I'll try and get a few more things in (weather permitting) in 2-3 weeks time. I should definitely have more by May though

LOL Simon's threadjack just got serious.
@BothKneesDown
Not sure if MC Miyoung checks my thread. You might wanna PM him. I'm pretty sure he just wrapped his grille with a CF vinyl or something.

I personally like the 5 spoke look, but I dig the color choice a lot!!! Do you plan to match some other pieces to the color of your wheels?
I've seriously been thinking about plastidipping all the chrome portions of my wheels to this color.
Good work bro. Looking forward to your bbk, and color choice!

Powdercoat isn't exactly something you can simply take off either. Since he's experienced he's going to try his best to fix them for me. He blames the "light" turnout on the calipers for being in "rough shape" (yeah, try and blame me, but don't warn me about this ahead of time). I don't know what exactly that means but, they better look good the next time I go back to check them out. This wasn't cheap at all
I don't wanna spoil the colour yet, but yes I am officially doing the RL BBK. I kinda spoiled it by asking a ton of questions in kosta's RL BBK issues thread anyway haha. I hope things turn out well. If they don't turn out well I might end up selling them and sourcing a new pair We'll see.
I have a few more mods to do for this season aside from the BBK:
- V6 fog vents
- Rear camber kit (to reduce negative camber, because I'm NOT "about that lyf")
- Plastidip the chrome 11+ fog covers (which I said I would do since post #1, but never got the chance to )
- Progress RSB
Oh and, thanks for the kind words people!

Sorry for the double post! Here are the pics again in case people are wondering what I'm talking about, since it already got buried in the last page.
Apologize for the shitty iPhone pics + dirty car... just couldn't wait.
Look who's working that shotgun
That 3in lip in the back. I know she's FWD, but fuck it. Our car isn't exactly quick to begin with, so why not Yes I know.. needs a bit more low.
TLX or TSX?
Surrounded by them..
Hopefully I'll have some better pics soon lol

I went with powdercoat over paint because of the better range of colours and better durability. If I had gone with paint, I likely would've done it myself. Shipping from Canada to Florida ain't cheap

If you actually met me in Canada when I asked I could have taken them to FL and back with me. Then no shipping cost for you...
But ya know... you didn't want to see me

^ only if you take the photos! lmao
Still need a wash though. It's raining all week next week though, and the temps have dipped back down to a bit above 0, and in the negatives overnight
On the other hand, I installed my 3 piece camber kit last night. Gonna get an alignment next week or so to hopefully reduce some of the negative camber in the back. Also lowered the rear about an inch or so. Love the way she sits now. Hopefully straightening the rear camber out will help make the rears a tad more flush. Although from the looks of it up close in person, it's very close to rubbing.
Sorry for the terrible pic! Couldn't help it.

needs like 40 degrees of negative camber in the rear, then it'll be perfect!

lol I'm happy on 18s. 19s will be too heavy for my liking.
that isn't fair! You're on bags LOL. but naw, I think I'm gonna keep her at this height. I'm a bit over the slammed look. I like my car achieving better form without sacrificing too much function

I'll be sticking to my XD9s for quite some time. I can't do 1 set of wheels per year again LOL. It's too expensive . Although real wheels do keep their value pretty well in comparision to reps. But yeah, the XD9s aren't exactly that light. But the fact that they're 18" in diameter will intrinsically be lighter than most 19" wheels, which is a plus for me.
Going to the alignment shop this Saturday. I'm hoping to get -2 camber in the rear without rubbing, but it looks like it's gonna be difficult . I'll likely end up with -2.5 or something, which is acceptable to me. I was running -2.9 and -3.4 in the back on last year's setup with the VMRs.

Installed JPower 3pc rear camber kit a week ago, and got my alignment on Saturday.
Not about that negative camber life.. and lawl at my initial rear camber. -4 left and -3 right
Tip for those of you who want to install the rear camber kit yourselves... it's likely gonna go way off after you swap the arms. Best you get an alignment asap after installing the new arms.

Got my RSB installed... geez the car handles like it's on rollercoaster rails. When I think I've reached my limit on a right turn, I give it some more gas and it just goes; no understeer. I will need to push her even further to find its new limit. Perhaps the rear with throw itself out. This mod plus coilovers and my Michelin PSS rubber has been the best performance mods as of yet.
On another note...

Still need to bed the EBCs. They squeal like crazy right now (maybe one in every 5 full stops). Their procedure is pretty tedious too... hopefully the squealing goes away by the time I hit 20k km haha
But I don't think the squealing issue is related to kostantinos's problem. At least I hope not.
