ed_423 08-27-2010 05:34 PM

very tasteful carbon fiber touches!

DerwoodEE 08-27-2010 08:25 PM

Very nice work.

Did you paint your front calipers?

MrOtocinclus 08-27-2010 11:02 PM

I think your style is awesome. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

09TSXTech 08-28-2010 12:23 AM

I like your style, where did you get those cup wings for your front spoiler?

I have read about Honda Germany making 900 Type S model back in August 2009, trying to emulate the styling element onto my TSX.

Keep up the good work.

VQPower37 08-28-2010 12:31 AM

looks awesome!

ed_423 08-28-2010 01:34 AM

AMUA6 08-28-2010 02:00 AM

One of the best looking 2G TSX's I've seen! Not feeling the wheels a whole lot though

DarkSithCL 08-28-2010 02:00 AM

sick ride!

I dont know what a caliper is :what: ? You mean this?
http://a.imageshack.us/img819/8357/bremsentypes2.jpg
Yes it´s painted and TypeS is a Vinyl. If this is a caliper? Learn a lot of your langauage in your Forum:thumbsup: I paint my caliper when they are new, then the paint sticks better and the dust from the brakes is better to wash away.
And its better against rust, too!

Thanks, I saw your car here before, like it
The cup wings are selfmade with carbon vinyl, have it on the side and back of the car too. Its not difficult to do but looks great in my eyes.

Sorry, but no idea what you mean?? The translator in the web is crap :ugh:

5thTo2nd 08-28-2010 11:48 AM

He means he doesn't like the rims.

Your car is looking really good! I know this is a small detail but I really like the wheel locks you have on there. We don't get a lot of internal locking nuts here in North America for Japanese cars. I tried looking for a set but most companies here make internal locking nuts for German cars like BMW and Audi.

What brand are those locks?

Thank you for your translation:thumbsup: No prob with that
The locks came with the rims, sorry cant help you more.
I dont know which size you need or if it fits to your rims. This are mine, cost about 50€ for 20 piece. You can surely buy them seperate, without rims:yum: but I dont know which dealer will ship to USA?

to open the locks you get this

cool car, looks really nice nd i see your overlay now on your roof..

i'm gunna have to say that im not to big of a fan of when people make the roof over law in matte though, i think it kind of clashes and takes away from the panoramic effect.. just my personal opinion, some angles or at night i'm sure it looks fine but i don't know its just not for me

impulseTSX 08-28-2010 06:44 PM

when i get it ill deff have to get the gloss finish so it matches with the rest of the windows and forward and rear windshields as kind of a symmetric look to it

DeathMetal 08-29-2010 08:59 PM

Those little divets in the fog bezels are begging for LEDs :D

born2blaze 08-30-2010 03:01 AM

Very nice car mate. Only thing I dont like is type-s badge on front bumper. What I love is carbon wings on sides, they are perfect, front and rear carbon wings I think should be separated from bumpers and lay in horizontal position with ground.

Good job!

LOL The TypeS Badge was only a test, I made about 15 pics from different places for the badge, but no good place found. Will place it in the Motor area???
The carbon wings separated from the bumpers I think are to low, dont want to hit the road with my wings. For the back Isnt your idea that bad, make my brain starting for DIY again. Thought it looks good, but now??? :ugh: could look better:thumbsup:

ttk5 08-30-2010 01:25 PM

I really love your car, I really like those carbon side splitters. Great work keep it up.

kowloonsniperhk 08-30-2010 08:14 PM

that is one good looking car!

GbosilTLS07 08-31-2010 05:26 PM

Car looks awesome but I don't like the Type S Badge on the front. It's just too much! Otherwise love your ride!

Ichiro 08-31-2010 09:36 PM

Nice looking ride, love the color combo & Type-S kit

acuratsx2010 09-01-2010 07:10 AM

Nice ride.

What's up with the red overlay only on the driver side reverse light?

This is original, no overlay. driver side is the back foglight(red) and right side is reverselight (white).
Its usual in Europe Version, didnt look on your US cars til now, are the backlights different from Euro??
Have to look at some Acuras in the PhotoGallery:thumbsup:
I love some black or dark overlays some of you got on the backlights, but it isnt allowed in Ger.!

WOW didnt se that before. You got both side White lights, are they both for reverse?
Thanks "eagleeye" acuratsx2010. Have to see if they are necessary in Ger., if not I need an US backlight driverside, only the little part with your white light. Looks much better both sides white, more symmetric

Yes, both of the ones on the US models are white and used for reverse lights. It's interesting that one of them is used for a foglight.

HondoGermany 09-01-2010 04:41 PM

So you dont have a red foglight in the back in the TSX or no other US cars??? Whats with german cars like BMW ,Audi, MB, VW did they have as US Versions red foglights? In Germany they have! I got info that in Germany without red foglight in the back is illegal for newer cars :ugh: .
Will see how much the right part of the US backlight cost with shipping to Germany. I will try to install a separate and legal foglight in my bumper:tongue:, if I can make a good deal with the US part. But I have to put mor money together. Have some work on my house:annoyed:

vash337 09-01-2010 04:59 PM

love it!

ed_423 09-01-2010 08:20 PM

No, there is no car that I can think of that has a foglight on the rear of the car. I'm just curious as to why that is required in Germany??? You should only need the inner part of the tail light. I just don't know how much it'll be or shipping for that matter.

TSteezyX 09-02-2010 10:00 AM

It's required on all EDM cars. Particularly useful during heavy bouts of rain to make cars more visible.

All automakers have different tail light assemblies for their respective markets.

On the AP1, a stand-alone foglight was used...

Thanks and the cleaning is not that much because the inside of the rims is matt black only the Front is silvergrey( the rims called MBP=Matt black polished). so you dint see the dust from the brakes or dirt. I wash it with water and a little soap!

First of all great pics. Love this yellow S2000, want some pics from the front, you got more?
In Germany the back foglights are required, but only allowed to burn when the sight is under 50m, only at fog, not rain and not in cities :ugh:

09TSXTech 09-03-2010 03:51 PM

Thanks for the explanation. Too bad they don't have that in North America. My friend's Volvo had one a while back. He used it when another driver follow too closely behind him on the highway, very useful.

I just got that pic from a google search. Not sure if this is the same car or not, but this is most likely what the front of that S2K looks like...Spoon front bumper
