You are gunna spend 3x as much buying those mugen parts
Like probably close to $2000 for that whole kit maybe more if you have to paint

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
yeah get new bumpers when you get rear ended or something
On a serious note, I think paint matching the Mugen bumper/lip/skirt with BWP will be difficult. There's probably gonna be a fairly noticeable colour mismatch after you install it, which to me is a huge buzzkill.

$2000 for the whole kit where? The bumper alone goes for 2k, sides and rear is another 1k plus, now with paint work you will be close to $3500 for everything .

I was also considering the modulo, but donno, like it but not all that much...makes the car look a bit longer in the back. I kinda like the stock.
Im a nob in like fabrication, but will look into maybe a custom rear under spoiler like the ILX...
will see...

Thanks
I pic'em locally....for $200. On day I'm sitting looking at some post about the conversion and decided to take a look at ebay a CL, and found them posted that day on CL. I was there so fast is not even funny....
Now getting the bracket and rotors, lines....and checking out some colours! Suggestions welcome!
Maybe Sav will be painting these?....

I defff don't wanna take away from Sav's business especially since he has painted my stuff.. but I would paint those calipers with some really nice high temp rattle can and call it a day. This is your daily, and those calipers are gunna get hit with rocks, build up break dust, and dirt. It's not really worth getting a proffesional to paint them. Cost of sending, back and forth is $30 then $50 if Sav quotes you on the low side.. you're at $80 for brakes that are gunna sit behind your wheels and get ruined anyways..
Just my 2cents

I been looking into it too...In fact the research shows that both options are quite ok, the PC being the better one in terms of durability, but not by much over the 3 step- paint process. Finish is a bit more manageable and posible better looking with the 3-step-paint than with the PC, but again not by much. $$$ about the same two. Keep in mind Im not considering the spray heat paint thing which is fine - and cheaper - in fact is what I did a few mo ago, and still holding up well... I just want some that can hold well and look even better!
still deciding on the color...... mmmmm

Im happy to report that after a few months the brakes do settle, and all the squeaky, goes away, and the feeling of the braking becomes totally natural as it was mean to be. As others have said, not much performance improvement, mostly because the MC still is design for single piston.
Im sure with a bigger said maybe TL Type S MC there may be an improvement, but...who's racing! - really?
I did used Ceramic Akebono, and there are kinda soft bite wise. Good trade though cuz they are super clean.... no difference in the amount of dust compare to the rears.... ++++

Looks awesome xakeo!
Mine are still squealing I'm pretty sure it's my EBCs haha. And they're SO dusty. Like a week after I wash the car, my front wheels are quite grey compared to the rears -_- Which rotors are these specifically? Any rust at the hubs? Might change mine eventually
Keep up the nice work!

Thanks xtc! U too btw,
The rotors are Stop Tech/Centric Rotors (126.42076SL and SR) which is just Slotted not drilled... I like this look better, if you don't mine the rust in the slots. They are not painted, i would not do it either....
There is a bit of rust cuz as you know the RL set up does not cover 100% of the disc but is like 3mm at bottom end of the disc...
Mind you I live in wetland South FL, so it is ALWAYS humid....None of this affects the braking anymore. I honestly though it did for a while but is supper settle now. Only time they squeal a bit, is when I drive off after like washing the car, and it goes away after my first braking.....

I like how the rotor hat area of your rotors are painted black at least. Mine's just bare metal so that part gets rusty too... and it's super ugly . I'm probably gonna have to spend some time wire brushing the rotor hat area and painting them myself. Can't really see it in my pics because of the angles haha

However, the Axle does not fit with my knuckle
That is why I am looking the brackets
It will be defferent shape than your brackets
Thanks for those information though
It really helped
I will check back with FastBrakes
Thank you
