Nice, how's the ride?

The ride is excellent. Very close to stock as far as 'harshness'. The steering feels tighter and more responsive, could be my imagination though. All in all the car is very smooth and transitions much better with this setup.
It's these simple mods that makes you realize how sloppy the factory wheel/tire combo makes the car feel. Adding the springs ties it all together for what this car should have been from the factory. IMO.

Looks great , I see you have the rain in Victoria also.
Glad to hear you did OK with a full load of people and luggage the other day.
I agreed with your assessment with regard to the factory setup, I realized how big an improvement when I had the sports suspension installed a couple of days ago.

I was just about to edit my reply as I saw your other thread regarding the ride.
I agree, on my car the Eibach springs make a huge difference in how the car handles. I believe even non-enthusiasts would notice a difference and I wonder if it isn't just a cost-cutting issue or some other senseless reason that it wasn't like this from the factory. I mean, my springs were $200. $200! Compared to $30k, seems like a no-brainer.

The only think I'm on the fence about is the window visors. Not sure if I like them or not. The chrome below each end ( front and back ) takes away from the look and I'm not sure if they take away from the overall look of the car.
Any opinions would be good.

Very nice Lou! It looks to be a nice subtle drop. This would probably be the perfect choice for those running 20"s.
And sorry, but I REALLY do not like those window visors. Too much contrast with the chrome trim.

of the window. Not sure if this will be good enough though. In the end I will probably remove them.

Thanks. Subtle is good. It's interesting how much of a difference .3" makes on the rear. The front is essentially the same as the Eibach which I like. The drop on the rear evens everything out which is also something I was looking for.

Dayum Lou, that really looks good, sir. The lighter colors really show off the kit and the different design elements like the side moulding.
Ditto on the visors here too, but just on account of the aesthetics.
If there's one thing that burns my about this car and the little 07 Si I had before it is how in the world if even *one* drop of water is on the car and my window is cracked 1mm.......that drop of water deposits itself directly in my window switches, sideview mirror control and memory seat controls.
I wonder how the Mugen visors look compared to the Autoventshade ones (is that the ones you have?)

There is this stuff from Chromagraphics (I tried to find it on their site but couldn't) you can get it at Pep Boys or Autozone or those places. It's just matte finish black tape you could apply to the upright portions of the window frame to cover the bright trim.

I don`t care for the visors much. I ordered a set for my car but never installed them. The front looks ok to me because the mirror takes away some of the contrast, but I couldn`t get over the rears. I even tried looking at just doing the fronts, but it still didn`t look right.

That is true. It might take a lot of effort for me to install them. Im either working, coming home to sleep, or going out at night. and now i got a week left before i head back to school. ill probably have more time next month. ill get them installed someday.
oh yea those springs are definitely going to drop a bit more after a year or so. I was looking at my old 1G TSX (my sister's now), and it's definitely lower than when i installed it. but no rubbing whatsoever.

Meaning you're alignment changes as they sag. How's the inside 1.5" of tread on your old car's front tires?
Actually even wear across the tires, but had tires were done at 60K. so i swapped my OEM ones from this car to the old one.

Thank you and to everyone for all the feedback. Putting a car 'together' is a lengthy process and by far this has been my most critical build. Any feedback is appreciated and welcome. Good or bad.
Now it seems the only thing left to do is to inject it with a little more motivation and a BBK.

^I hear ya man. Well have you put any thought into doing something with the headlights? Maybe getting rid of that orange diffuser or something along those lines?
More pictures from different angles are a must as well.

Yeas the headlights will be dealt with in time. I don't want to 'cook' the stock ones in order to remove the amber portion but will purchase factory ones from off shore when they are available. I will also lightly tint the taillights at some point.
Photos should be up in the next week. We've been doing extensive renovations to our house so time has been short to say the least. Stay 'tuned'.

do you have a straight side shot? how much finger gap for the front and rear?
i got the eibachs but the higher front and lower rear drop and was thinking to changing to h-techs.

TSX lowered on Tein HTech.
These are the photo's you were looking for. The car no longer has the visors over the windows.
The Tein's are great springs with no problems at all. Very happy with the drop. The car sits even all around. It's perrrfect.
This was taken about two months ago in Seattle.
