TSX with 19" Wheels
Here are the latest pics of my TSX with the new 19" TSW Estoril chrome wheels. I swapped out the 18s this morning. Sorry, they're not the best quality. Enjoy...

Thanks for the compliments. I'm amazed that going up 2 sizes in wheels didn't make much difference on the ride quality of the TSX. The car rides almost exactly as well as before, just with better grip.
The fender flares definitely make the stock 17" wheels look smaller. I think this car could easily take 20" wheels without a problem.

The ride quality is excellent with the new wheels. I've notice very little, if any, change in ride quality. Of course the handling is much better with the wider footprint. If anyone's interested, I purchase the wheels and tires from the Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim, CA. They're TSW Estoril on Toyo tires (245/35 19")

The wheels are 19" TSW Estoril (chromes) and the tires are Toyo (I don't know the exact model tire). They are 245/35 19". The total cost of the package after negotiating a substantial discount was $2325.00.

jsailata...Looks very nice! Myself, unlike alot of people here, don't seem to mind the stock wheels at all. I think they look better than the BMW wheels in my opinion. I must agree that they look very generic, nothing overly exciting about them but they are not that bad at all. I also didn't mind the stock wheels on my 2006 TSX as well. I am not a big fan of the tires and wish I could replace them with some Potenza R960A and I'd be happier but hard to justify removing brand new tires off a car, especially hate risking having the rims damaged by a greasy kid who doesn't care about his job nor the rims of someone who spent lots of $$$ on a new car....

Looks great...it looks like you're near my neck of the woods in Anaheim Hills (?).
I like the setup of the 19's, they especially look good even without a drop...but next time avoid Wheel Warehouse, they're a rip-off

This seals it... I think 19's are the minimum for the 2nd gen TSX. Looking good. Once some spring/coilover options come out, and hopefully a RonJon/Mugen grille, your car will really be set.

If you're comfortable with changing a tire (and therefore being able to install wheels delivered to your residence), then I recommend staying away from local shops and buying from online shops. They're usually (way) cheaper and they mount/balance and ship to your door. Here are my favorites:
http://www.buywheelstoday.com - great selection, prices, and fast delivery.
http://www.elementwheels.com - knowledgeable, great prices, and fast delivery.
http://www.tirerack.com - their prices have increased while their selection decreased, but still a quality source. I still buy most of my tires from Tirerack.
If you're not comfortable doing installations, your local Just Tires or Big O Tires will usually install for low $$. I use Just Tires for new tire installations (mount/balance/air), they charge around $25 a tire. Costco used to do the installs, but now only on wheels/tires purchased from them.
A few local SoCal shops that I've done business with - West Coast Motorsports, HCW Motorsports, Robocar, and Island Motorsports. I can't guarantee they're all still in business, but when cross-shopped against Wheel Warehouse, they always beat their prices.

Actually, I got a great deal from the Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim and they beat other stores prices. I was very pleasantly surprised by this.

very nice. A lot of people told me that once you put those after market wheels/rims on it'll void the warranty, is that right? Can any body tell me if this true or not. thanks. once again bro. nice car.

i don't think it's so black and white. I can understand them denying a warranty claim based on you putting on heavier rims which might put more stress on the suspension causing things like bushings to wear out quicker...just something i've heard as well.

By the way, you mention "I swapped out the 18s this morning", did you have the optional 18's on the car or did you mean the stock 17's? I was curious if you indeed had the 18's, which 18's where they (A-Spec?) and were you interested in selling them?
And I believe you took your pics at the top of Hidden Canyon in Anaheim Hills, is that correct? ...looks just like it if not...

Actually, when I bought the car, it had the factory 17's on it. I traded them in at Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim for 18's. After deciding that the 18's still looked too small, I paid a few hundred dollars more and swapped them out for a completely different make/style of 19's (TSW Estorils in chrome). I've had the new wheels for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love them. They compliment the angular lines and creases of the body and fill the wheelwells much better. Also, they have not negatively affected the ride quality at all.
In answer to your question Type34: Yes, the photos were taken at the top of Hidden Canyon (actually it's Point Premier at the top of the Anaheim Hills Estates). Good eye for detail!
