Switched from bmw to acura
So as the title states, I switched from my e46 to a 2010 Acura TSX in Vortex Blue Pearl. Although its not as "sporty" as my e46, the ride is 100x more luxurious and overall I love all the standard features that come with the Acura. I just wish it came in AWD, but thats what I have my ML for .I did have one question though, I saw a user on here that has different headlights, that get rid of the orange reflector and I was wondering where I could get that done?

Love the color combo you got. Congrats and welcome. I came from a 2006 330i, and while I loved that car, the fact that the TSX stays out of the shop is a huge win.

funny....there seems to be a few people that switched from BMW to TSX now, myself included. Switched from 2002 325xi at 90k miles - really wanted to drive my beemer until 150k miles b/c it was the first new car I bought myself, but it was starting to cost a fortune to keep it running. Plus, since it was a 2002, I was starting to have some major technology envy.
Anyway - welcome, congrats, and enjoy!!!

I almost bought a BMW instead of my Acura and glad a didn't. I couldn't understand why the BMW dealership was trying to sell me a maintenance warranty on top of the factory warranty....lol.
As far as the headlights, you can message some of our vendors who specialize in this for your headlights. Either "JnC" or "Acktl05". Also if you search a little you will find a few DIY threads on customizing your headlights.
Great car and welcome to Azine!

Welcome,

Here's a link to your headlights clearing.
Good luck if you decided to do it!
I feel sad that you gave up the BMW, but I feel happy that you an Acura TSX. Hahah, made no sense...

thanks, dunno if i want to mess with it yet.
+1 My e46 was in the shop CONSTANTLY. New tranny, real axle, CA, CV joints, ebrake, camshaft sensor, etc.
Ya mine had 125k miles on it. It was my first car that i got at 16 so it was hard to part with it!
The new e90/e92s are pretty reliable, but once you're out of warranty, i would sell it...lol

Same boat here. Had an e46 330i.... car was infinitely more fun than the acura but the acura is much roomier and has gadgets the BMW didn't.
Although I do miss the higher quality materials and small niceties ie heated washer nozzles.
