Man, that cluster gives me a boner! And that's an interesting intake manifold cover! I wonder if that holds heat in cause its metal.

Wow, this is a great thread. Excellent job on the car!

Are you still interested in the Mugen grille? The one that was pictured requires the '09/'10 bumper and won't fit the SE. Of course, if you're planning to get the entire bumper, that's a moot point.

Looking forward to more mods!

I agree, and the red lighting looks REALLY nice! And can anyone answer this question for me?

Does the center console area (stereo, climate controls, etc.) light up in red as well, or are they the regular TSX colors?

Ah okay, thanks! Just like the regular TSX then. It's too bad they didn't do things like the old TL-S and make everything in red.

^^thanks man but i didn't get ur question

anyway i removed the fog housing to color match them with the car and i gotta say the outcome was pretty nice for those interested on that mod the bumper has to come out and the fog assembly has to come out since the fog cover is being held by 3 screws

Name: fog.jpg
Views: 677
Size: 97.2 KB

then i took them to work to prep them prior painting (I'M a painter)

Name: fog3.jpg
Views: 648
Size: 97.2 KB

I then used 3m scotch brite(silver) then clean them with prepsol then applied a nice coat of adhesion promoter so the paint sticks

Name: fog4.jpg
Views: 650
Size: 88.7 KB

after letting the bulldog dry for a good 5 mns i then applied 3 coats of CBP base

Name: fog2.jpg
Views: 692
Size: 91.4 KB

then 2 coats of clear using my iwata w400
Name: fog1.jpg
Views: 680
Size: 101.1 KB

and the outcome people wouldnt probably notice but i like of the front end looks right now door handles are next
what ya'll think about the housing painted?

looks amazing, i agree a black chrome wouldve provided the perfect blend of contrast yet unity though. but paintmatched looks great.

just an FYI, you can use your GLM spray over the plasti, and it will still peel off the same as regular plasti. shoot me a PM if you need help so we dont derail this

Hey man the fogs look flawless! You did a great job! Personally I like the silver contrast on your fogs though. But if murdered out is the way you're going then you are spot on!

thanks man ur right about the fog housing at first i didn't really like it but the more i look at it the better its growing on me i really have a soft spot for the murderer look even though it is not my intention but all i want to be silver front emblem(grill) the rear (trunk) and the window trim

Yeah, I just liked the way it looked... "batmanish." Silver fogs drew your attention, basically helped in making someone view the entire front end, and not stop at the grille and headlights. If that make sense lol
