I had some free time at work I nicely prep it for paint
since the mugen front bumper comes with the fog covers in dark grey and the aero rear bumper lower portion also comes grey I wanted to do something similar with the rear half I used anthracite grey
I then with a fine line blue outline the area where I wanted to keep grey
then masked it prior spraying crystal black pearl
then removed it all before clearing
and for the final product
WARNING paint gloss may cause hallucination lol

So I've never really learned the proper way to seperate the areas that are being painted different colors. I always just put the pin stripe tape down first then kinda taped newspaper to the edges of that tape. You got any useful tips for us amateurs? I only saw the blue tarp stuff attached to your thin tape but how did you do it?

aiight I did a slight mod to my trunk, cause I really like how people would come to me and ask me what kinda car it was until they see the Acura logo so I decided to shave it off
I also got an 09 bumper that needed a little bit of tlc from me no biggie though haha that's what I do for living
1) 2k sealer was applied on the bumper and trunk to cover my sand scratches and for an easy coverage
2) then cbp base
3) then the best part clearing, trunk reflection and no orange peel is insane
now the emblem is gone I decided this belongs there
I will take more pics I'm tired now putting that rear half and properly align it was no easy task
I have no skills when it comes to taking pics but in person OH MY this thing looks great

I clearly stated cause I shaved the acura logo lol
when removing the emblem as you can see from the pic below there are 2 holes left on the trunk that I had to grind down from the inside and outside and filled up with body filler, there is no way I was gonna spot paint it which would of been a poor and sloppy work the best way is to paint the damaged area (base, color) slight blend then clear the whole panel
lol

Ok so I thought that all of the emblems were just "taped/glued" to the trunk. I wasn't aware that the acura emblem was drilled. Is this true for all tsx models? I could have sworn we had like 5-6 guys remove the "A" and it was not drilled.

I might be moving to florida when I'm done with school within the year so I will let you know haha, It's funny you said that, because as much as i like the sound of my mufflers I will probably be switching them out for Magnaflows or something else for a cleaner look
