Plastidip Grille

I got bored and took the left over spray from my wheels and just threw it on the grille.

This is why I love this stuff: You messed up? Just peel it.

Got paint drips? I had major ones, but they dried out and looked flawless.

Heres what it looked like, took me 20 minutes of work with 4 hours of drying in between.

Sorry, she's dirty from a recent long drive.

Nice! Did you remove the grille to paint it or leave it on?

looks pretty murderous.

a few cans of spray dip and you could probably just spray paint the stock wheels, the front grill, and lower it on tein springs and BAM, murder-TSX for less than 400 bucks.

ur welcome whoever does this

I actually left it right on the car. I opened the hood, taped all around and just went at it.

It really was unplanned.

And yes, it looks that matte black from the can. There is a way to make it glossy but it then becomes unremovable.

The greatest thing about this product is that when I'm bored of it (Probably never.) then I can just peel it off.

It was super easy.
If any Ontario CU2s want it done I'll be glad to come by and help!

Sure can, some people use it as a "primer." Just be sure it has fully cured before painting it.

I've seen automotive PPG with clearcoat paint over plastidip as well.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try this on my grill and if I like it I'll try it on my stock wheels. Thanks again.
