Budget is key also but if you considered ssr I guess that clears up that discussion lol.

I like a classic 5 spoke design as opposed to a snowflake design atm.

deal was im selling my rims and buying the SSR's but if someone comes with money in hand takes them and thats what happened
however driving now and see all of those path holes makes me think that i would be more focusing on avoiding path holes than enjoying driving so im thinking of getting something less aggressive

Yep, exactly what i had mentioned during the test fit, My friend says he cant enjoy the ride blc all he thinks about is those lips poking out.

You can still pull off a really nice rim/tire set up and not have lip poking out. Or maybe Just an ever so slight stretch would still be nice.

Im debating wheels now. The goal was to stop for a while to get my Savings up. I want a 2 Wheel Toy. After a Bike id start modding again. But now im leaning towards rims first, and then saving for my bike FML .

yeah i like that design too wish the vossen cv3 were made in 19

I still consider SSR but in 19 or 18

one of the reason why im asking for some rim ideas is because people can find/know rims that i dont and they look fantastic

You got me thinking since I saw your car last night with the +35 all around...I was going to do +48 front and +32 rear on a 19x8 rim.

Sigh.

Your current rims are 19x8?

Can you take a couple pics of your current setup. Are you rubbing with that drop? What's your tire size...

Trying to make sure that I do this right.

Just a quick update for anyone looking to go with a low offset on a 19x8+ rim, lowered and no negative camber. I am running 19x8.5 +45 up front with 245/40 and I rubbed the hell out of my front fenders to the point where I just repaired them with an Eastwood fender finishing tool. The rubbing comes with more than 1 full turn of a steering wheel going over dips/inclines where the suspension is compressed. So my next order of business us to order a pair of front camber ball joints to dial in some negative camber.

my rear offset is 19x9.5 +42 concave running 275/35. Took a lot of back and forth rolling and pulling to not make it rub. If I were running a 265 or 255, I would have no issues with rubbing (worst case, a minor roll on the rear fender would be all that's needed). IMHO and it's just that.. Go with +48 like you wanted and use spacers if necessary to get it right.

And this is why sticking to a "normal" rim size is the best way to go,
Theres rim size width offset, tire stretch, how low and how much camber to consider wl "Stance" Wheels.

Id kill myself tryna figure this all out

Lol.

I love Stance though...

This guy makes me wanna do 32+ all around..

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-photograph-gallery-144/update-end-summer-black-tsx-745083/

I PMed him to see if he hated life or not when he was on it. He went from +48 all around to +32 so I am assuming he will have some advice to offer. Plus, he was on Tein SS which I am getting.

I like living on the edge a little. But I don't wanna ruin my car, lol.

rims are 8.5"et35 all around
tires 245/35/19
i suggest going with 32 offset the would look like mine sync the RJ's are 8" wide
i dont rubb but im close specially on the front
i dont rubb because i set my damper to 10 front and back (15 being the stiffest) on the rear i dont have camber kit so there is no rubbing issue but if i get one i will have to roll fenders and easily could fit 10mm spacer hope this helps

Agree with you on that but if you have second car then you can play with some crazy offset and have that stance look

oh whatt, you are rubbing with that?! defcon said he ran 19x9.5 +45 with no problems in the front (he's on stech though)

would switching the tires to 245/35 be better?

Yo Ed! 245/35 would definitely help. The 40 series are slight bigger overall compared to OE. However, the offset and width can affect it big time. When I was running 19x8 +45 with my BBS's I had not such issue. 1/2" makes all the difference in the wheel fitment biz and not the bedroom

yo ben, when you ran 19x8+45 how much clearance did you have in the back? did you ever get rear spacers?

19x8 +45 with 245/40 in the rear with NO issues. However, I rolled my rear fenders in preparation to go wide. When installed my 10mm spacers with extended studs, I think I would have clear it without rolling the rear fenders.
