Need opinions on plastidip stock wheels on PWP
Haha it's been a while since I've done anything to the car. No money since I'm just a broke high school student :/ LOL.
Anyway I decided to plastidip my rims the other day. I wanted opinions. I've generally been getting mixed reviews. People say they like it, people say they don't. I wanted to see what you guys think. I honestly think they look alrite, just kind of funny with the center caps.

dude...plastidip the entire car...

Three Wheelin'
it looks alright. I had them on mine and it made me feel like every VW GTI kid in my area. You probably should plasti dip the emblem and lug nuts but then it'll be a bitch to get off.

not too bad kid, i thought about doing it on mine but decided against it lol
u should plastic dip your hood and trunk, so from far away you look like you have cf hood/trunk. LOl
i say rock them for a bit, then peel them off when u get sick of it

I just peeled it off.
I'm glad I did this before I dropped $2000 on rims, I'm not sure if I want to go the black on white route anymore. Will try again when/if I drop my car.
I saved up for rims, but something came up and I had to pay for it.

+1 on plastidipped face

Plastidip would not stay on the rims for that of a long time to began with. Eventually due to daily driving, the plastidip will chimp, and come off. But no it will never be permanent.

I'm actually thinking about plastidipping my rims on my pwp, but I have already painted my A on the centercaps red. Maybe it will look better without leaving them plain.

donno if that will look good with our stock wheels. here are some other wheels that have a blue lip on em if your interested.

REVIVE! Did you end up keeping it or peeling it off? I've got some combinations I want to try with my wheels. I like plastidip on stockies.

Hey Kid, I dont understand it right. Did you peel the Plasti DIp off because you didnt like it, or did it peel off itself, because of rain, washing, weather etc. and then it was hard to remove the rest of the Plasti Dip?

You should have spray painted the plastidip bronze or cyan or something just to see what it would be like.

I was actually thinking about spray painting them, but way too much work lol...to busy for that.
These wheels are way too small to look good on this car no matter what colour they are

LOL @ colour.... With a drop I think they look great, There are very few aftermarket rims that look good on the tsx imo. Hopefully when I get my springs installed I can show how good these OEM rims can look, with the right "color"

Just spray paint the tire too so it looks like the rims have a huge lip. leave a little black near the tread so you have some tire. This might only work out if you were 1000ft+ away from the car.

Its What i would be doing before i gather the funds for a REAL & AGGRESSIVE wheel and tire, I havent seen the Grid on our CU2 Body. Very Low offset and a slightly stretched tire?
OP Springs will drastically change the appearance of the car if you go low enough, and spacers will complete the look if youre on a budget.
