VERY NICE!!!! Question, do you have TPMS on those Volks? Looking at a set of SF Winning in gold for another car but the way valve stem is mounted, it doesn't look like it will support TPMS.

Yes, it does have TPMS. The previous owner had TL TPMS mounted in them using barrel bands that worked fine, so I stayed with that system and only swapped out the TPMS. CLICK HERE for an Acurazine thread showing the TPMS on the band.

Thanks. The gold is definitely more divisive. More thumbs up and looks but probably more roll eyes too. The RDX wheels would have been great lowered as well but more subtle. After all the cost and energy, I just want some flash for a while.

Update: I lowered it more than I first thought I would, so I need more than just the rear toe rod. Time to order the 3 arm kit and rear spacers while I'm at it. Once camber is fixed, I don't know if I'll need 10 or 15mm. So far it looks like most people have gone with 15. Once that is set, I foresee using my Eastman fender rolling tool. *gulp*

Suspension: Definite next is 3 arm camber kit and 10mm rear spacers. I'll probably get some 20mm spacers to use when the RDX wheels get slapped back on and move the 10's up to the front.
Brakes: Wilwood brakes & SS lines if I can justify it. This think brakes horribly.
Exterior: Maybe change the DRL lights to a cooler K temp. Maybe I'll do the personalized plate after all, but I still haven't turned in papers for it.
Interior: I still want the steering wheel & shift knob. I'd love some Acura emblems for my Weathertech mats like Graphite Ghost had made. Maybe some Chinese pedal covers.
Engine: I'm holding off on that. It's not worth voiding the warranty for something that gives so little gain. Maybe if Hondata releases something, it might be worth doing the rest of the engine parts.

In the meantime, I'll take more piktars of this and my 98 M3/4.

Great job so far, makes me wish I got the blue instead.

Did you get higher spring rates in the rear, or is that just stock Tein SS rates? How does it ride, specifically over imperfections?

Ride is just fine. I started out at a level 8 front and rear, but I noticed the rear was riding too rough. I dropped the rears down to level 6, and it's doing wonderful. No need for any spring rates on the rear. I'm comfortable with everything I found out that the sedan kits fit the wagon. Again, I would only do coilovers to adjust for any height differences from added rear weight just as would also do with a TSX V6.

The blue is definitely awesome in the sun and under fluorescent lights. In cloudy weather and shade, it turns to a more flat purple. Graphite is definitely great, and that would have been a real contender if I could have had it with taupe. Acutally, I would have bought ANY color to get Umber leather on a wagon. I even considered dying the leather to get that brown color.

-Latest update: I just ordered Ichiba 10 and 20mm spacers. 10mm to use on the rear with Volk and then 10mm front/20mm rear when using the RDX wheels. I also ordered a K&N drop in filter and SPC adjustable rear arm kit (3 arm) since I lowered it more than I first planned on. I'll raise the rear up about 1/4" as well because it seems just a touch lower than the front.

I didn't even put what the wagons were.

05 Volvo V50 AWD T5 6sp. This was the most rare of these. Put the Volvo 18s on it, And it would have been amazing with suspension done and ECU flash. Amazing and under appreciated car. It was essentially a luxury AWD Focus ST wagon.

05 Saab 9-2x Aero. Tein SS coilovers, Drag DR31 17x9 wheels, 245/40/17 Kumho ASX, full exhaust (don't remember brand), and some kind of ECU flash. Plenty of Royal Rally Pig decals replaced every Griffin and the driver mirror (+5hp/ea). Man, I loved that car. That's when I got the fender rolling tool to roll & pull the fenders to fit all of that meat.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess the weight difference isn't THAT much... using the curb weight and weight distribution stats, it's about a 200 lb difference between the wagon and sedan in the rear. The dampener settings and height adjustability are probably as critical as the spring rates given such a small difference.

I'll admit that I really didn't give the wagon a good look when I picked up my '12 several weeks ago. Since then, I've seen three on the road here in Dallas and each one of 'em made me do a double-take. And now seeing yours with the drop--pure awesome Nice job.

Car is cleaned up to head over to the Dallas Cars & Coffee bright and early in the morning. It just happened to work out so I'll go take in the sights and show it off a bit.

Mighty kind of ya.

Here's the car at Dallas Cars and Coffee. I got there at 6:40am (less than 100 cars there by then), and the bouncer/gate keeper at first started to block me from entering and send me to the spectator parking. Then he goes, "Oh, you've got it lowered and on what, 20's? OK, I guess you can come in." Sheesh, like being the cute but chunky girl trying to get into a club or something.

Just because it's my thread and can dump other things, here are some other cars that were there:

I was just over in OKC to watch game 1 of the Finals where we Beat the Heat! The next morning I get up super early and found that my brother had played a joke on me. It will not be staying, but I thought it was pretty funny.

what is that?

Some say their earwax tastes like Turkish Delight, and if they could be bothered, they could crack the Da Vinci code in 43 seconds...All we know is their called The Stigs!

I was checking out a location to shoot a street rod, and while it's too angular for a '50 Merc, it fits this alright. I may have to revisit this place, but here are the test shots:
