Yup. These locks are pretty cool because a regular deep socket is a tab bit too thick to fit so less chance of someone stealing my wheels. I mean not like it can be broken off but more peace of mind.

Just got done doing a full detail on my car and buddies gs300. Polisher got some swirl marks off but not all . But the Wolfgang 3.0 paint sealant is sexy ass fuck!! I wanted to take pictures but my car was too shiny lol. I kid but damn this thing looks good. Wax is easy to take off like everyone said but not as easy as I thought . Car looks brand new!!!

What polisher did you use?

What polish/wax combo?

I don't think Woflgangs sealant is designed to remove swirls, it is to protect the paint after it is polished.. but it does gloss like a mofo!!

I just ordered Menzerna FG400 as a cutting compound that finishes nice and shiny.... and Pinnacle's Liquid Souveran wax which is supposedly the shiznit on black cars.

You accusing me of being dumb? I didn't use the wolfgang as a polish lol. I used Meguir's ultimate compound. It sucks don't use it ahahaha. It took out some but not all. I used some random 10" polisher at advance since they got a 10 off 30 deal. I thought it worked pretty nicely even though its probably not as good as a DA like everyone recommends but they're not coughing 200 bucks out of me for one.

Never called you dumb LOL you just weren't specific!!!

You should try Menzerna FG400 next time!!

Or Megs 105 + 205 is a very well known combination.

It also depends on the pad you use. If you have heavy defects, be sure to use a heavy cutting pad (yellow).

And I got my Griots 6 inch DA with 6 free pads for $99!!!

Just gotta wait for the right deals man.

M105/205 dries out very fast and is a pain to work with.
theres a remedy for it where you spray mineral oil on it but just buy some better polish. lol

My brother's F14s were 1 lug away from being stolen last night. I guess i'm pushing my exhaust/muffler mod money and getting an alarm system now.... Does anyone know of an alarm system that comes with a push-start or push to start button?

What do you mean by push start? Remote starter? Take a look at the Viper 5902. That's the one I'm getting for my car and adding a tilt sensor, glass break sensor and back up battery. Had the 5901 with the add-ons on my old civic and the tilt sensor saved my HFP wheels from being stolen several times.

What do you mean one lug away??

Like he walked out to his car and had one lug on? Or was that an expression? Was it the locking lug that was left on?

Remote start or push to start button lol. Yeah looking for something with proximity sensors and what not so bitches don't get close to my car

ssjoe: I literally mean 1 away. There was only 1 lug left on the car before the thieves were caught and ran away empty handed. And like i said before, locks don't stop thieves, just slows them down. thankfully that was enough time for my dad to get all his gear ready for his fishing trip.

Thanks for the help MC...
I found a viper 5704 unit for pretty cheap on ebay. I did a quick search on it and it's an upgraded version of the 5901. I will probably end up getting this unit and add the proximity module/add-on.

If anyone else is interested they have a bunch on stock and are a top rated seller.

Open to other opinion if you will like to share different models or brands. (I know there are threads discussion this but I'm still trying to find 1 with a push to start button lol)

I bought a tilt sensor and each lug will be a wheel lock. Might get the glass sensor too the more I think about it. I'm not taking any chances with my wheel investment.

Man I'm really thinking about getting a gun so I can go shooting with some friends. Ammo is never in stock around here so it will just be collecting dust.

The each lug having a wheel lock is a bit too much. I'm running a set that came as each being the lock and I got a different lock set so technically i'm running 2 different ones.

Dude tell me about it... I can't find 9mm at all. Going 2 months... I wish I had saved more. I only have a handful of bullets left. Next time I find ammo I'm gunna spend like $200 and stock up! I wanna buy a sig saur mosquito cause it's compact and .22 is cheap an easy to find.

They are all keyed the same and are gorilla guard locks. I felt like they were the safest to go with. You won't be able to just hammer a socket onto them.
