the only hood vents I like are on the mugen civic type r. This is rice, in my humble opinion.

However, it is my opinion, but not my car. Good luck, hopefully it works out for you.

they might work if they were functional. And I think they should only be done if at all, after wheels, drop and kit, as a last mod. To see them on the car before the primary moids seems inappropriate. But as others have said, its your car, enjoy modding it!

acura killed it with the tsx... sucha a good idea but they went about it totally wrong! it shoulda been the TSX-S with the whole type s treatment. now people who cant afford the base TL are gona get the tsx v6...

wow, drugs are bad. maybe i don't get it because i'm a girl, but imho it looks horrible. but as others have said, to each their own. also not digging the paint on the grill, but once again, its just my opinion (not everyone likes my grill either-the painted emblem).

The vents are very subtle compared to the painted grill. Why not paint the grill the same color as the car?

I just don't get it though. Your Prelude appears so clean and uncluttered yet your TSX is taking on the polar opposite look. How could you have such a clash in taste and style?

i dont think its a clash in taste in style compare to the rest of the people who obviously dont like it.

its the same thing i did to my prelude.

i also plan on adding a EDM rear fog light into the rear bumper you see on other hondas.

by the time im done with this TSX, it will be completely different to the rest regardless of the hood vents.

my prelude is all looks (ricer). engine is bone stock

i have plans to get a full body kit and im swapping my 18" rims onto my TSX in a few weeks with an eibach drop.

i personally think the hood vents will flow better once when i get the kit, rims, roof spoiler, trunk spoiler, oem visors, etc installed. the hood vents arent even on right now. i might paint match the hood vents or not in the future

Making it look good, or making it "all look" is fine to me. Beauty is in the eyes of its beholder.

Doing that AND posing to others that one's car is fast is ... Like a blinged out Neon (with a park bench I might add) with a fake blow off valve sound kit that this one college kid had. I was on a bike heading to class long ago, waiting for him to turn, and he turns on his "fake" blow off valve sound and nods at me... Stupid kid.

Fake hood vents should definitely be banned. It defaces a luxury car to an extreme level. Just as bad as those fake chrome side vents you see on so many Chrysler 300s. Oh well hopefully it doesn't get any worse
