You don't see them very often because they will run around an extra $4000. That was last summer, maybe they lowered the price now

If these are the same 18" wheels that you can buy for the 09 TSX in chrome or black chrome as shown on the TL, they are made by Enkei. I only know this because I was going to put them on my car and got the dealership to bring a wheel in so I could have a look at it. When I looked at the back face of the wheel the Enkei name was "stamped" in the aluminum.

The only reason I wanted them was to save headaches with hubcentric rings etc. In the end I am happy I didn't get them.

It's a spec wheel, made for Acura by Enkei for Acura distribution only. You can't buy the Nismo wheels from Rays, even though they make them for Nismo, Mugen, MazdaSpeed, TRD, Subaru Technica and...Ralliart?

You can negotiate a deal with your dealer's parts department. When I bought my car I got those wheels, but told them I wasn't paying more than $2500 for wheels/tires/tpms/mount/balance etc. I got them with Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires. I thought it was a pretty good deal at the time but you might be able to negotiate lower by now.

is there anyway to order these exact rims rather than the ebony colour in Canada through an Acura dealership or Honda dealership?

I doubt it but you could probably get someone on this forum, like the guy who ownes the Accord with the wheels you want, to give you the phone # for a dealership overseas. For all the money you are going to spend, why not get something aftermarket?

Here is some other shots of the wheels on a TSX.

I don't know if you are new to this forum but like with any forum, if you look you can find most of this stuff. I know it isn't always easy to navigate if it's your first or second time on the site, but most of the answers to the Q's you have are here somewhere.

i dont know that much about rims but a lot of my friends tell me that there are different kinds of rims... 1 piece.. 2 piece.. 3 piece... and I am looking for a set of rims I want to use year round and for the lifetime of the car... and I think the optional 18 inch would do the job?

Unless you are paying really big bucks for a wheel, chances are they are one piece wheels. RonJon is a good alternative.

If you PM me about the wheels they are on special right now through Acura. This is the lowest price that I have seen so far.

Do you think the ebony or chrome wheels would look better on a silver moon tsx?

Those wheels look really good with the graphite color body. I think I'm going go ahead get those 18" ebony wheels next. I'm hoping that my 17" stock wheels and tires w/ ~1k miles will be worth something to offset the cost a bit.

Quick Reply: has anyone purchased the 18 inch optional ebony black rims from Acura?
