Cu2 Update from South Africa

Just thought I'd post some pics - she needs a wash though.

4 Channel GTO amp which drives all the full range cabin speakers.

The noisemakers in the trunk

Closer up...

Kenwood 8034BT Double Din unit. Built into a custom made trim plate. The original HU was cut out with an angle grinder.

Pioneer super tweeters on the backboard. Provides a nice crisp sound throughout the cabin. I have Sony co-axils on the rear doors. Front door panels courtesy INFINITY KAPPA range. All interior speakers are amplified by the GTO.

Another picture of the DVD player...

The GTO once again...

The mother of all mothers. OPTIMA Yellow top! Weighs around 40kg. Using copper 0gauge power cable to power the audio system.

The INJEN CAI
The complete dirty engine bay...

Can the DD unit sit flush? Or is it permanently sitting like that?

It has 9 different positions, including reverse tilt.

It can sit flush - had some passengers in the rear so this was the best position for their viewing.

Yup, I have done a Stainless Steel freeflow system, and remove the Cat as well... Not a loud sound, but a sweet aggressive racy type sound. Compliments the INJEN CAI very nicely... Especially passed 6k rpm.

Hey mate,

I will, just waiting for my LAMIN-X templates to arrive 1st.. Ordered this directly from the supplier. Also will be doing the H&R drop (have had the springs for almost 3 months now, but havnt installed them).

I just cant figure out whether to drop it on the stock wheels:

or go with a set of 19" black rims, with Chrome polished lip on a set of 235/35/R19, and then drop it.

I love the stock wheels, just wish they are a wee bit bigger though.

I think you should lower your car first on stock wheels, then decide which wheels you want to get. Those wheels look great as it is

Thanks Guys,

I have decided to drop it on the stock wheels. Also, the 19" wheels are almost 4kg's more than the stock wheels.

Still waiting for the lamin-x to arrive. Tint on the headlights, and Gunsmoke on the tail lights.

Just to give you an idea of the pressure in the cabin:

The rear view mirror is quite firm, and to move it around, requires a bit of effort. With the pressure, the mirror doesnt just shake, it gets blown all around into different positions. I use the side mirrors when driving and the audio system is on. I can see NOTHING in the rear view mirror, its a BIG BLURR!!

Oh... I took the car to a Honda Dealer on Tuesday, and they were having the major launch for the CR-Z. Buffet Meal, Champagne, beautiful decor.... I pulled into the parking lot, system cranked up, exhaust humming, and the INJEN CAI belowing! Everyone runs out to come and check my car. The chandeliers inside were shaking, and so were the lids on the buffet platters.

Oh well, I hope they do well with the CR-Z... (Hahahaha)

Sorry dudes, I cant help but be a show off: IM AN ACCORD DRIVER!!!

Did your car come from the factory with that shift knob?

That's the standard shift knob for the European Accord, if you get the Type S or ED-GT model, then they will have the shift knob similar to the TSX. You can always upgrade to the sports knobs available in metal or woody finish.
