AcuraRolling's build/ progress
Ive been kinda dead off to forum, mainly due to lack of interest in my lovely TSX. I decided to start a progress thread to display some of my upcoming work. Plan on doing the sport bumpers in time, just haven't decided to drop the dough yet.
the beginning (2014)
current situation
current project: MDX jewel eye retrofit w/ led chasing turn signals, led park lights

top of the front doors should be done first as they are the longest and odd shapped compared to everything else. I still have extra remaining as i brought 3.
I have come across that as well, but I haven't checked that thread in a few months. last i read it was not going to be 100% completed.

Beautiful progress. Your wheel setup reminds of my ex VIP LS.
What suspension setup do you have? WHere in LA are you? I am debating suspension from my wagon, so having a local owner where I can check the ride of the car would be helpful.
You can PM me.
Loving the headlights. I would pay you to do mine, if it gets rid of the uglier than a naked rosie o donnel yellow cunt of a DRL i have.
And damn that is a lot of Macy's bags

VTEC just kicked in, yo!
If you ever see it again, please share the username/ tag.
I'm in whittier, everyone tells me for the way my car is setup they never expect it to ride the way it does "very smooth" and that's coming from people with cars setup like mines. If I can tackle this headlight setup I plan on doing small projects for people interested, but I was quoted @ 2k for labor alone from one shop who was willing to do mines, that's not including over a grand in parts. I won't charge that much, more of a hobby not an income.

Everyday I'm rofling
How do you plan on aiming the beams? If they are a few degrees off you will blind everyone in front of you.

It's not hard to aim them, many people have done projector retrofits into halogen lamps (including me) and aimed them pretty easily.

ceb posted before about some expensive tool you should use (or get someone to use) to get it done correctly. I think most people will just do a trial and error against a wall.

The amber reflector will be removed and the area will be covered using abs plastic which will hold 5mm clear led bulbs. Not sure on the design yet but it will something along the lines of 100 white park light LEDs and close to 70-100 orange "chasing" LEDs bulbs.
I can't really blind people, car is really low. But I do plan on aiming them using a guess an old method. I will aim my stock lights "currently on the car" at my garage and make various spots, then install the retrofitted ones and correct as needed.

You don't HAVE to replace it with anything, you can just remove it, but it might have holes for the clips.

Looking forward to it. You got the time and skillz. Mad props.
My skillz end at installing 1 piece JDM headlights back in the day in my 1992 Integra GS-R.

so how do the drl / highbeam / lowbeam work now. are they all inside the jewel eyes? what are you going to use to fill that gap between the turn signal?
