Well hot damn! Someone finally went through with making led tails. Although it's hard to tell exactly how bright they are since the exposure is changed so greatly with different pictures. Can you take a photo with them lit up compared to stock in the same photo?
You should disconnect your 3rd brake light in your rear deck since you now have one in your spoiler. It bothers me when there's two brake lights like that.

Also chrome b-pillars are never a good choice.

I didn't mean to be rude. My apologies to everyone. There are a lot of people that don't like chrome pillar but that's their choice. I like them and that's why they are in my car. I will remove myself from this forum. Best of luck and wishes to everyone!

I would have liked to seen better pictures before the guy left though. Those tails look sort of interesting but I'm having a hard time actually understanding what I'm seeing.
This is the internet though. If it was that easy to make him leave it would only a matter of time before someone else said they didn't agree with one of his choices.
im bumping a 6 month old thread i know why revive it?, but i did stumble across the youtube video of this poster's tail lights and I was curious to see what the OP would share about the lights etc.
Too bad he left. It looks like the acrylic bars are catching the light to glow like a bar from the LED halo circle. I have been lurking HID planet for LED project ideas after attempting my version of the inner tails.
from the looks of it, it seems he used a string of LED's for the side markers of the tail light. I'm impressed with the light output through the lenses. I really wanted to see the light output of the turn signals. Im curious as to the brightness. That's one of the biggest issues with LED turn signals the output isn't as bright as the stock incandescent bulbs.
digging deeper the guy who does the custom work charges $1300 for the work. For just a few acrylic pieces, and some paintwork I personally do not see the value in the additional features.
The acrylic does look cool, but without diffusing the light properly especially in the blinkers it offers no benefit over stock.

If that's the case, then why cars are equipped with a single reserve light eg. Scion XB (its the only car I can think of that has a single reverse light) and also red turn signals, is it required for inspections?
And yes you're better off with the OEM LED tail lights.

You lose 1 reverse light, in place of a rear fog light (which is red). You still have 1 reverse light on the other side. If wired correctly, the Spirior rear fog light should not come on when your car is in reverse.
Laughing my ass off. When getting my Airrunners installed I asked the installer if he could install the rear fog light harness and for some reason, both reverse light comes on and the rear camera comes on too. I like this feature as I can see the cars behind me in drive haha.
