2010 CU2 exe - from Poland with Mod

Hello, people - name's Lucas and I'm from Warsaw, Poland.
Been reading acurazine for some time now, since it's a great source of info; now it's time to post something about my car

it's a 2010 Accord, 2.4, executive trim (whatever that is).

I started last year with a serious detailing since black paint on Hondas is a joke - after 2 years the paint looked like this:

seriously, honda?

well, we managed to bring back the shine:

the wheels were Drag D9 (18x7") at the time with 225/45 Falkens.

Recently I decided to drop the car (finally) and install some new wheels: Tomason TN4 (polished) (19x8,5") with 225/35 Nokians. Suspension is a H&R coilover kit.

This is how it looks now:

what you guys think?

now I'm looking for a BBK - thanks to the forum I decided to go with Acura TL-S brakes. Hope I can find them in Poland.

(pardon the quality of photos and errors in my English).

Car looks great man. Love the shot in the 13th pic. Did you use a camber kit too? Looks like you have a nice negative camber on the back and none in the front

hi, thanks man.
no camber kit yet, but probably I'll need one. Are SPC kits any good?

Nice job mate.

I know that thomason wheels and I think its one of the best option for our car with grille you have. Looks good together. I wouldnt invest in bbk since you are clearly going for elegant look and I really doubt it that you need BBK. We have bigger brakes in standard then our friends in their TSX.

Ładna robota kolego zapraszam do obejrzenia mojego autka, link w podpisie. Pozdrawiam.

well, yeah, I wanted to make it somewhat a VIP-inspired car. Those polished rims are PIA to keep clean, though.
No I need some junction produce pillows:P

btw, I'm really digging the mugen visors that seem to be quite popular on usdm tsxs, but none of the us sellers on ebay wants to ship abroad. I found some items from Asia, but shipping costs are killer high...

thanks.

to be honest, I don't remember what products were used, but paint was first thouroghly cleaned nad decontaminated, then machine polished 2 times, and finally protected with Gyeon Q2 glass coating. It was dried with IR lamps for 24 hrs. Interior was protected using zymol waxes.

Great detailing job!! It`s so hard to keep this crystal black pearl colour in good condition. Do you still have the surfaces that great condition as in those pics?

if that gyeon Q2 is as any good as optimum opticoat, the paint should still look as good if the car was properly washed

I coat my CBP with Gtechniq C1 and it's great! I had a shop apply C1 last year November and I noticed some spots is wearing off (not garaged) I'm still impressed how it performed. Was hoping to cut and polish this summer but had no time and will try to get another C1 coating before winter hits.

thanks guys; the photos I posted were taken in June; detailing was done in May 2013, so more than a year before the pics were taken.

Th coating still holds quite well, there's a spot on driver door were water seem to stay longer, but apart from that - I'm super happy with the quality of gyeon.
Car is washed once a week using autobrite magifoam (altough that's not always necessary).

konstantinos, ET 40 (19x8,5).

actually, winter came and I had to switch to my winter setup (stock 17"s); I've seen some great classic BBS wheels, and this is the way I'd like to go for next season, but it's very hard to find BBS with 5x114 bolt pattern in Poland. So I'm looking at other brands with similar design (chrome lip+mesh) - any opinions on japan racing wheels? are these replicas?

the JR10 look interesting:

Those are replicas of the CCW LM20 if I'm not mistaken. XXR also makes a replica, as well as ESM.
