Tsx v6 ecu tune?
I stumbled upon this on the 4g tl page and I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with this and if it is even a viable tuning option or just a load of bs

looks like they don't have a tune available for the tsx version....at least no data on the gains.

Yea ive never heard of them before or heard of anyone using them but they claim to have an ecu tune for the car granted no specs for it yet though

Contacted them and they said it was 499 for a reflash that gets rid of top speed limiter, adjusts air fuel, deceleration throttle maps and adjusts for any mods I have. Good idea guys? I want to do it but I dont know how reputable the company is and I am pretty sure this will eliminate the factory knock monitoring so I would probably need to run an octane booster. Some input would be appreciated. I am thinking about waiting till I have ported runners though that way the tune is optimized for every bolt on I will have.

dude. seems like a scam.
BECAUSE hondata just released a flash only for 07-08 TL's.
it took hondata ALMOST 9 years to get this flash.
you mean to tell me that company cracked it in less?
something smells fishy.
and why would it eliminate the knock sensor????
the knock sensor is a piece of hardware that goes directly to the TSX's ECU.
if you're running premium gas; then that gas has enough octane to keep you from knocking.
octane booster isnt an effective way to boost octane anyway....mostly snake oil
if you want to mix your own fuel; grab some race fuel at 100-101 and mix it with 93. 96 octane was enough to stop knock in the 3rd gen TL.
you can also raise octane by adding toluene

the main one on foothill in the San Fernando Valley.
Yea I am trying to find any before and after dynos on other forums to see if it is something legit but I am having trouble. They do have a lot of positive reviews for their motorcycle tunes though.
