Torque 2009 TSX vs 2012

Hey guys. I currently have a 2009 4 cyl tsx and may consider getting the 2012 version with the same 4 cyl. I see the 2009 specs are 172 at 4400 rpm torque and 170 at 4300 for the 12 TSX. Is it possible to notice this difference and/or is there really a difference at all? would there be a noticeable decrease in acceleration with the 2012 vs 2009? thanks

You sure you're comparing apples to apples? 170 ft-lb of torque AT 172 ft-lb of torque MT. This applies to all 2nd Gen TSX's. The only real difference between 2009/10 and 2011/12 is Honda used better coating tech on engine parts to reduce friction and switched to 0W oil to bump up fuel economy numbers.
