New Turbo CU2 in the mix
Well in case anyone was wondering i was the lucky guy who was able to purchase the turbo kit built by Utah from Optimusaccord.
Install is all finished now and started doing tunes with Vit
Threw some pics in of finished install (only thing missing in picture was the IAT sensor which has since been installed)
Once tuning is complete ill go get some numbers on it!

@UTAH TSX what's the reason for doing 2.5" to intercooler inlet and 3" to the manifold?

Is that just the easiest size to connect to the turbo?

It matches up to the ZDX tbody the 2.5 looks cheesy with a reducer going to tbody

Guess i owe you guys some updates. Long story short is i went through a rebuild on the engine, remachined everything and got some Wiseco Pistons and Manly Rods (h-beams) installed.
Took her to the dyno and did some remote tuning with Vit on E85. Laid down 515whp and 445wtq at around 23psi.
Had to throw some RL brakes on there too for all dem pulls haha. Also installed a tranny cooler (can see in picture, installed just in front of intercooler.)
I broke one auto transmission after a year and half but replaced pretty quickly. Currently debating where to go from here. AEM ECU and a Quaife Sequential i think are calling my name along with maybe an EFR 9180. Before all of that i figured i would try and get a high stall torque converter from IPT transmissions. Anyone else know of any where i could get a higher stall TQ converter?
EDIT: the blue on the dyno is my power levels prior to rebuild.
Like Utah has mentioned before the auto is a struggle out of the hole. i took it too the track and ran a 13.34 but my 60 foot was 2.6 seconds every time

Yes the wheels are Enkei Kojins 18x8.5 riding on 255/40 or 45 i think. The brakes are from an 07 RL, rotors are for a 350z.

Nice you won!
How do you like the RL caliper upgrade? I've been looking into them and I can't really find much info on the 2nd gen TSX. There is some info for the 1st gen (I recall reading the brake setup is very similar to the 2nd). Where did you find the bracket?

With almost 500tq, I am surprised that auto trasmission is holding. You'd don't hear about to many auto turbo Honda/Acura's. Are you using Flashpro to tune it?
#17
yes unfortunately i am using flashpro too tune still. it is quite limited due to our ECU. No boost by gear so thinking i need standalone to get 1st gear sorted out or get an AMS-1000. First things first though and am gonna send an extra tq converter to level 10 transmissions and have them convert it to high stall to see if it helps with a dig.
i was also having issues at peak boost at the top of 3rd gear where i would max out my MAF sensor at 5.0v and send the car into VSA limp mode but i got a performance Jet chip that is for the V6. Successfully wired it up today and didnt have any VSA error like you would if no MAF sensor was plugged in. Waiting for a flange to arrive to weld to intake pipe and test it. Utah may want to do this if he plans to up the boost!
Regarding the brake question, yes i got my brakes from an 07 RL. I had to also get 350z rotors from EBC to fit the bigger brakes and had to replace wheel bearing on one side to get them to fit properly. Also the brakes work like a dream, coupled them with EBC yellow pads but i think Reds would be fine for anyone else. Fat Four Customs makes a bracket.

Hey Ive been following the build of your turbokit since it was being built by utah tsx. Ive had my tsx for 5 years and im finally ready to start my build. I wanted to ask about the rear motor mount. was it custom made or just cut down for clearance? do you have any clear pictures so I and try and recreate it? Im custom fabricating everything myself and ive collected every picture of the build on across utah optimus and your threads but id like a look at that mount perhaps maybe even a shot of the clearance the turbo has over it in the mount. thank you in advance for any light you can shed
