I think my injen was worth it 100%. The sound it produces is amazing. A little stronger pull and slightly better gas mileage (when you're not gassin' it just to hear the intake...)

For a while, about 1-2MPG more. not much but whatever, I'll take it. Then I started enjoying "spirited driving" and the injen caused me -5MPGs

Yes, I had to remove the front bumper assembly. It's not too hard just time consuming.

is there a real difference between a short ram and a regular sized one? I live Vancouver where it rains quite a bit and having a regular sized one, im scared of getting the filter soaked.. any thoughts?

Is it worth it...Perhaps not. You can find the same performance by just removing the silence resonator...and that'll save you a good 250 bucks.

However, I love the sound injen CAI makes, it resonates through the cabin.

It all depends, its not a must have, but like any other aftermarket tune up, if you think its worth it, then you will pay for it.

The clips and the way Honda attached the front bumper does make it time consuming. Goddamn, was it a pain in the ass to remove my stock silencer.

I have always been a fan of the AEM Dryflow. Installed an AEM CAI on my TSX. No pulling off of the bumper (access through the fender liner). No fitment issues, no funny sounds, just pure CAI intake sound and better performance. A CAI is a good thing if you are OK with intake noise, I personally like it and have never had any issues with AEM.

i got a CT-E Icebox and its well worth the coin. There is not much extra sound unless I get over about 4500 rpm. It is super well made. Near impossible to hydrolock like a long ram. Looks factory to the untrained eye

Hey guys,
all the websites I've searched show intakes up to 2010 TSX. Anyone know which ones would fix on my 2012 TSX SE?

Thanks!

Just remove the intake resonator and save yourself $230+. Then buy the intake if you still have the need for it. That way you'll learn how to take off the bumper and the resonator is already off so the installation if the injen will be a breeze.
